Don’t know where you saw these prices but in Switzerland it s around 12-15k , Italy - 6-10k and insurance after certain age doesn’t cover . So yeah not that cheap either, The medication are are around 2.5k . And this is on top of the whole process .

Broadly speaking, yes, as long as the ovaries are still producing eggs - but of course your specific situation will depend on you're specific body, so your best bet is to see a reproductive endocrinologist and they can give you a clear picture of your options
