Infinite 1-UP Exploit in Super Mario Bros Wonder (HOW TO GET MAXIMUM LIVES!)

Hey guys heres a quick tutorial of how to do 2 inifinite lives exploits in Super Mario Bros. Wonder. Theres probably more ways that just these 2 but this is what ive found so far. Enjoy!!

The best way I found was to go to the level with the pipes you can push. Push a pipe close to a wall or another pipe and throw a shell in there. You can’t just let it go like other games but you can continuously walk jump without touching the ground and it’ll count as you bouncing on the shell consecutively. You do need to time the wall jumps enough to not touch the ground but it seems easier than this method

This worked for me! Did it on Swamp Pipe Crawl at the part where two sumo bros are pushing a pipe on either side, and used a Yoshi so there was no danger. Got 99 super fast

The scram skedaddlers method is my least favorite infinite one up tricks in any Super Mario game so far. Not only is it hard to keep jumping on the projectiles with the flutter jumping and parachute cap, but you also have to take into consideration that it can be strenuous on the thumb, you have to be careful not to land on the above ledge, and you have to time each jump so that you don’t accidentally land on the projectiles without jumping off of them, otherwise you’ll have to start all over. That and the skedaddlers’ rhythmic pattern of shooting projectiles isn’t quite as precise as you might expect.

You can scare two Skedaddlers into the same spot after the checkpoint to make it a little easier.

The scram skedaddlers method is probably possible with Mario as well if you ground pound cancel air stall and wall jump

I noticed you kept throwing them up and moving, to get them to stay put... you can just hold down and let go of Y to just drop it

Can you pick up turtle shell in early games? some how pressing Y is not working for me in the first 2 stages.

This no longer seems to work. He pauses frequently so you will hit the ground. Was most likely patched.

Couldn't you just wall jump off the left wall with any non-Yoshi character? With the parachute cap, you can basically wall-climb infinitely because you slightly gain height.

I managed to max my lives just by buying 1-UPs from the store. I had ALOT of flower coins to spend. Getting lives are still meaningless in these games. I'll probably never see a game over screen. Besides, you can always just save before playing a difficult four or five star level.

If you think Mario is too easy, then you should try challenging yourself! You should try seeing how many levels you can beat with Jet Run on, that'd be a challenge.

@@tHEuKER I've already beaten several of them. I've been doing this for a while. Not to say that this game hasn't had its fair share of challenges but I've played way harder platformers in my life time especially with how many advantages the game gives you outside of badges, checkpoints, Nabbit & Yoshi, infinite 1-UP exploits, the ability to spend currency and stock up on two items. I wish I had that advantage playing Mega Man 1 & 2 with no save states or any Cuphead level past the first island.

@@DarkMetalGortex Well, I consider using Yoshi and Nabbits cheating. And yeah, I've played Megaman and Cuphead. Not the worst I've had either. The Special World did have me spending some lives. Did you really pass the "Final-Final" level? That thing's insane.

@@tHEuKER I could grind this game out and beat it tonight but I got work in the morning and it's rare for me to play a game that I actually wanna take my time with. Also I really hated that they decided to make Yoshi who is literally my favorite Mario franchise character the easy mode of this game as opposed to just Nabbit again or even Toadette. It also really sucks that there were like several levels that I could not have completed 100% without using one of the other characters since they were item dependent levels.

I apologize for letting you down, Mr. Copycat, I think we just need to get enough coins, and then buy lives from the shop, it's much easier....😅😅😅 A set of lives just costs you 20 coins, 380 coins for 95 lives, it's a safer option for getting lives...
