The 3D Mario deaths always unnerved me. I ain’t losing sleep over ‘em but it always seemed like a bit much for Mario to struggle for air before his body lifelessly stops moving, or have his life ended by panicking against a black hole before it rips him apart. Really makes you realize that he actually died. Less so in SM64 and sunshine because he pops out of the level so you know he’s alright- this is mostly something I’ve noticed with Galaxy. Could also bring up the electricity death in Galaxy, but I always found that one silly and cartoony, especially since his skeleton stumbles around for a bit before falling over (if I recall correctly)

For NSMBU, it’s between those electric fields found in Peach’s castle-castle, or the sumo bros. But, if we’re counting this, it’s the coins from the coolness challenges…

New super mario bros u did have the big fure bars and electronic Bowser heads. But they don't add much in that game

The Galaxy titles do have voids without black holes in some galaxies. And in 3D World/Land, do levels that you need to unlock with green stars/medals count as hazards?

The one thing wrong in this video is that super Mario 64 wasn’t the first 3d Mario game. That shit show came after super Mario rpg legend of the seven stars. Which was the first 3d game of Mario.
