Sorry if this video seems messy, or if it’s missing any info. This is a big mod and it has very little info online or on the wiki page. I still thought it was a cool mod so I wanted to cover it. Edit: Ty for all the support on this vid recently, and I’ve read your comments about the “camera shake” effect and will be fixing in future videos.

Thanks for making a video of my mod! I do plan to improve the mod significantly at some point and rewrite it without Mcreator (as I've done for my other dimension mod) but I'll need to get more ideas for what to do with it first.

I recomend you to read or study The Inferno of Dante by Dante Alighieri, its an amazing fantasy and incredibly old, he creates and explore The concept of Nine Layers of hell, its a good base to get ideas for your mod.😊 And maybe you could remake The mod based in The concepts that Dante created.

Hey! Im not a mod creator, im a mod consumer, yet i got suggestions Call your mod "Infinite Abyss" and never spell it "infinite abyss", it attracts more attention!, second, make a tutorial book, and third, refine the textures and the spelling.

​@@Poloxiety All good tips I agree, my other mods all have guide books and I try to spellcheck stuff more, plus many of the textures in Infinite Abyss are years old at this point so certainly do need remaking. Not sure how long it'll be before I get around to it, at the moment I'm working on an entirely new mod which should be a lot better than this one was.

⁠@@Westoroyeah i would recomend sticking more to slow movment in shots and following a strait line instead of the constant circles, you could also use a slow zoom in or out effect on a still shot to break up the movment. For the most part the movment was only a bit too fast other than when the camera was on the player, where it was way to fast with constant cuts that changed the direction of the movment which just made it even more jaring. The fly by shots were perfect and the angles used to showcase the elements of the mod were good but other then the ocational one where the lighting felt a bit off. Other than that the showcase was good, best of luck on your future video projects, that be more mod showcases like this or others.

@@Westoro did you use night vision potion on a layer 7. You could see a lot better with night vision instead of seeing darkness all over the layer 7.

​@@dreamcrittingalthough very challenging I think it would be really cool if there was a world gen option to have all the layers stack on top of each other underground Maybe there is different types of bedrock separating the layers causing you to need to do something on each layer like a mini quest to progress to the next layer, obviously this is quite unrealistic And would require a lot of work but I think it would be awesome

Something similar would be doable, having a lot of layers in one dimension could get laggy though, especially if they're detailed layers, but 3 or 4 different 128 block or shorter layers all in one might be fine, I might do something like that for Infinite Abyss 2 (if that ever gets made, I'm busy working on a different mod at the moment and don't have many ideas for Infinite Abyss 2 yet)

hmm this mods seems a bit shallow, but your video covers it well, i just dont see a point other than more blocks and some mods, and only a tiny mechanic that makes your enchantment more OP than it already is... seems grindy. But cool mod nonetheless just a bit shallow

I forget the mod but there's like "Stacked Dimensions" which means you can mine into dimensions as it replaces the bedrock at the top and bottom with Obsidian

This cave mod is pretty terrible and unoriginal. Nether portal lookin ahh portals for cave layers that are boring and too consistent for being caves while not consistent enough to fit with Minecraft's overall aesthetic and coherent design philosophy.
