Update 41 is bringing many changes to Elder Scrolls Online, one of them being status effect changes. This is going to change the Infinite Archive with a huge new area of build-crafting with Direct Damage orientated builds.
This videos shows the Sorcerer Class SET, Monolith of Storms, in a one bar build and how amazing it can perform with these changes that resulted in a clear just shy of arc ELEVEN!

I've been holding onto my good traited Monolith pcs as well, just wasn't sure what to pair it with. It's really cool to see two damage sets being used, especially up to Arc 10!!

Awesome you held on to them! Try to hold on to heavy pieces if you don't have a full heavy set to go on body pieces.

I totally agree with the MonoLith / StormCursed combo Although with the new changes its going to be a real SHOCKER Monolith itself is great because it makes the Stormbuild feel like a storm build the way it was ment to be. Now though im conducting a really fun experment with my Necro making the most out of Crimson Twilight, Sergents, and Scourge Harvester. - It gets crazy fun wthen you put on Ravaging Golath. Anyway Everybody. Listen to Dooma, He's one of the best. Tells it like it is with NO BS.

Hi AJ! I used both. I used Wrath to quickly manually place/move pillars in early arcs and then in higher arcs I used Lightning Flood. I'll be making a guide for it tomorrow!

This supports one of the things I'm kinda wondering about Update 41...is part of it's goal to make it easier for 1 bar builds to put out more damage? I've seen some gameplay of another Sorc build on another channel, and it's why I started actively leveling the Sorc I had just sitting there. Now I have more motivation to do so.

Hi ABDR4! It's very possible. Me playing a one bar build for this video was also just a coincidence. It could have been a 2 bar set up. These changes could also be to provide more options for damage generation to give players more options in how to tackle it. Excited stuff either way for the Archive!

Hi Ryan! I’m not in right now, but check the channels recent vids for a thumbnail that’s blue and says “the most fun sorcerer build.” That video is this build and on that video description is the written guide which is updated even further from that video a bit with some small tweaks but the video explains it. The PTS also changed to EU in the middle of testing so it’s parked in that state until it’s back on NA. But if performs exactly as shown in the video, a bit more so with the written guide updates.

Hi Xander! I just did some testing earlier. Flew through veteran maelstrom with no deaths, solo'd a 12 man trial boss in Asylum Sanctorium, and parsed around 85k with a more group pve focused set up. Really fun stuff for an off-meta niche build!

Do status effects stack from different players? Like in a duo with a warden in ice furnace paired with a DK applying burning does the burning damage from each player stack? Or is it detrimental to have the burning status effect built into on both player builds because it will not stack?

@@BurtonVT90 Awesome and you are very welcome! I do recommend, if you end up liking playing as a duo and want to push far, one of you play a proper meta tank for IA. Hi Eyez! It should be in Discord somewhere. I know people tool screen shots and posted it for others after I streamed it for a few days. I don't plan at this moment on making a video just yet on it, but the info should be in Discord. There is a channel called "Dooma-Things" where people usually post things from streams.

Can someone explain what actually keeps you alive here? I’ve been trying to get into arch 4 and my sustain is just not there. I’ve been following guide the best I can and I’m at a wall now. Currently grinding transmutes just to reconstruct this archive set to see if I can get it to work.

@@Dooma I would definitely chime in! I have the monolith set that I’m going to try tonight pared with sergeants mail (need transmutes to reconstruct the other set). I’m only at 760 ish CP so that may also be my issue. I made it to 4-1-1 last night and died on my last thread due to a surprise boss but new day and new set! I also am new to ESO really and IA so I need to learn more about the visions and what is good. Stream on YT?

I updated the written guide just a bit further than the video, but the vid will explain the build for you. As it stands now, what is in the written guide, is a better version than the one I hit Arc 11'ish with solo.

Hi Xander! The 2 status effects we use it for as a spammable, got an increase of over 100% damage.

Monolith cant proc stormcursed on its own right? Or is this a proc set that actually can proc another proc set?

Sadly, no :( Still a very fun combo. As Dooma said the way Monolith of Storms is played is so much, if you like lightning dmg you should give it a try :)
