A word of caution for future hunters: yes, you can pick up chunks from previous loops without killing the lizards, however if you pick up even one it'll set off a flag for that lizard to not respawn anymore. It looks like it's disappearing in a puff of smoke as if it'll respawn, but the game doesn't track how it despawned, only whether you had picked up it's loot.

Just wanted to assure questioning hunters, since my mate interpreted it as: it'll disapear when the current loop drop is looted, but previous are fine. We'll be fine, he paid for PS plus so there are always online chalice gliphs, but in the future someone might ctrl+f this information in the comments. I’ve tried it but it’s a long run back and forth I prefer to just equip 3 eye runes and fight an easy first layer boss in the cursed dungeons like glyph Jemmjmpi it’s a brain sucker he’s super easy plus while getting chunks you will also get echoes and insight which can be cashed in for blood Rocks.

Ludwigs head also respawns with the same property so you can farm moonlight greatswords at the same time and sell them for echoes. Only thing you can't get through this farm is insight unfortunately.

How can you tell if this is working if you can’t loot them? N to clarify you kill them first do the run back and forth kill them again and do all that again until you are at the amount you want? (Or did I miss anything?)

You will know it's working because they will respawn. You can also keep a running tally in your head for how many you will get when you decide to stop. So take a day to do it as much as possible. Yeah you just do exactly that process over and over

Tried this. Here is a tip, make sure you don't raise the stair case as. Just don't process the research hall at all as they will stop spawning. You'll have to start the dlc again should this happen

If you've already killed and looted them inside the research hall before this it won't work. Unless there's a lil bit of a fluke. But once the nightmares are looted that's the end of the glitch sadly.

Sadly no. If you already looted it then thats the last time you will be able to on that play through. But I have a video on how to get 1 million blood echoes every 5 minutes so that should help speed you up to get back to the chunks. Good luck homie!

I like to run in between the beds to get the focus off of me while taking them out individually. Just do that back and forth until you can get them down. After that they wont respawn.
