Again, I have no words, it's just incredible. : ). The time and effort you put into a 47 second video is probably unimaginable and am still waiting for it to blow up. I am honored to be a subscriber.

so cool bro how much time did you spent on this ?
@Digipiction2 жыл бұрын
I believe I spent around 60 hours on it. Especially setting up and tweaking all of the simulations took way more time than I expected.

Wow this is so cool! I'm just getting started in vfx (advertising), in Flame, but want to pursue some creative stuff in my own time. I'd love to see if it's possible to recreate something like this in Flame.

did you do that? If yes, then this is an amazing job!
@Digipiction2 жыл бұрын
Thank you, yes I did. That was one tough week because I got started on the contest really late and had to finish it in time for the deadline.

Which software & render do you use bro?
@Digipiction2 жыл бұрын
Hey, it was made in Houdini and rendered with Redshift
@dangerzara2 жыл бұрын
@@Digipiction can u explain more what is redshift
@Digipiction2 жыл бұрын
@@dangerzara Redshift is the render engine, i.e. the piece of software that calculates all of the lighting for the final images. It's available for most 3d applications.
@dangerzara2 жыл бұрын
@@Digipiction is it faster to use than normal softwars. And if it is how much did it make ur render faster by. Plus i really loved ur render and my friend did too the only thing i didnt like is how u can tell the physics particles get less and less into the distance :))
@Digipiction2 жыл бұрын
@@dangerzara It's pretty fast, I don't have a direct comparison because each render engine requires its own material and shading setup, and I only prepared the scene for that renderer. Thank you, the background is the one thing I would have liked to have spent more time on. I got started on the challenge too late and didn't have enough time left to make the landscape as detailed as I had planned - there were supposed to be a few trees moving in the wind and generally more variation.

Love it, one of my absolute favorites :D Any chance for an uncompressed or high bitrate download? I feel youtubes compression is killing half the details 😥
@Digipiction2 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much, and yes the compression is terrible indeed. I have a website coming later this year where I will make a high quality version of the clip available 🙂
