Hey up Lads and Lasses, new to the channel is Infinite Lagrange. I will be covering this game from now on with a video every Thursday. Walkthroughs, Guides, Tips and Tricks is what my channel is about
and I will be applying the same here to Infinite Lagrange. Hope you enjoyed this video I'll get more out in the future and some with a bit more gameplay elements especially when covering the ships and fleets.

Two changes that I would make would be being able to merge/split fleets and have auxiliary ships act as a mini base where you can choose to retreat back to. The idea would be station your auxiliary ship near the front line and move in your fleets to attack. After taking losses or retreating back to the auxiliary base, replenish your fleet by merging with the auxiliary fleet and split off again to replenish losses. I feel like these changes would make auxiliary ships a requirement forclarge scale battles

Great video, just a minor correction. The marshal Crux brings in a maximum of 10 Aircraft comprising of 6 Large Fighter/Corvette + 4 Meduum fighters. But it more then makes up for it the lacking of diversity and carrying power with the strategy, damage and the 15% Antonio's aircraft Buff which have the best aircraft by far and large compared to the other companies (Vitas A/B, Cellular Defender, Mistral, Nebula Pulse etc). Crux is the perfect sleeper carrier and it will absolutely crush heavy fleets with the right modules.

Mistral is still far better on the tundra getting its hit rate even further buffed. The damage increase is marginal at best from the crux. Furthermore of the rest of the Antonios aircraft, cel def and neb chaser are better on jaegar for the anti super capital targeting, which leaves only the vitas a and b, of which only really the B is getting anything from the 15% buff. So I don't really value the 15% damage buff.

​@@Damphyre the mistral is best in slot on solar whale with the large fighter mod and 55% rtb from the maintenance dock. T800's and mistral with this wet up are unparalleled in any other carrier or configuration.

@@Damphyre They added the super cap targeting to the crux as well, that is why i said that you are sleeping on it.

​@@troyyeahbuddymistral dmg is mostly affected by weapon duration, not weapon cd. So rtb and cd won't do much for them.

Suggestions on Aux ships. They should act as a frigate carrier thing. On self command points enable to reinforce on the 5 slot bringing in all the frigates on a reinforcement counted as 1. On fleet composition Self Command points should not count in total command points. This is the best way that aux ships can be implemented an additional command point booster so you can add bigger ships into a fleet and lessening the command points by making itself a frigate/destroyer carrier

In my last server, near the end, I pumped a bunch of TP into the FSV to goof around with it. I focused on sailing speed coordination, jamming, Cruising Speed, and the support platform. I ended up with a frigate-only siege fleet with a bunch of recons added to bring the average speed of all the ships way up. I sent the fleet out with this as the flagship and 3 or 4 recons and a utility ship waiting at home to set up jump points and ghost ops. With this fleet, I could move from amp to amp knowing I could outrun anything that came after me. When I was done either because I needed to repair the fleet or I was signing off, I would already have a ghost op set up for me to dock to a resource node and start repairing. It was a lot of fun. What I learned was, holy smokes this cost a lot of uEcoin to repair a fleet over and over. It's more or less a must to be on a uEcoin Production Yield docking point. And at the end of the day, uEcoin is probably better spent on weapon tech.

Maybe if the aux had like strong healing abilities like healing bc or where able to produce all kind of non supercap ship maybe they could be more viable, but i think more than everything theyneed a reduction on cp cost plus buffs but that would help them.

remember the Crux also buffs Antonios fighters and bombers - that Vitas B with extra 15% damage plus the buffs the Crux gives in the hangars make it a super deadly ship, especially if included with Vitas A and mistrals too. Also it can bring 10 fighters per Crux, 6 Large and 4 Medium so its 1 off, you can substitute the 6 Large for 6 Corvettes instead. The Crux is prime bomber material, mix in its Ion cannon and that thing shreds.

In my org the ppl who has the Marshall, uses it with only AA fighters/corvettes, that way they can rely on deal damage with they other ships.

I'd like to see the aux ships have healing capabilites within battles. It makes very little sense that they can heal out of battle, but not in battle. Something else that would make them useful is if they had the corvette production module for example, they would be able to carry like 6 corvettes. Currently the only time i'd ever use them is to heal a secondary fleet guarding my AMP from pirates if I move my base away.

Maybe a good rework for this support ships will be a utility as a mini base roaming For example a FSV will act as a Oil Replenishment in Real Life, and In-game will act as a it gives a temporary cruising speed speed in your fleet. A Ediacaran will act as a Moving Arsenal where it Give a Good rounds of Amunations Increasing the damage temporarily to your fleet at the cost of Cruising speed of the entire fleet, (Heavier Amunations cost a lot of storage which means slower movement)

I got the aircraft production for the fsv last week. I have lots of blueprints but that is because I have been in the game since season 1.

One thing tho, the "Sailing Speed Coordination" flagship effect will only activate when "The fleet consists of only Frigates and Auxiliary Ships"...so it's not gonna buff any ship other than the auxiliary ship itself.

I see a lot of people who dont know how to use carriers. Solar whale. Large fighter mod, maintenance dock with with 55% rtb. 11 air config on the whale with this is better than the 14 air config. Your mistral, t800, vitas b and pulsar neb will perform outstandingly. You do not simply use the most air you can carry but the best set up in each hangar.

It really depends. You are correct though the maintenance is very useful for its huge rtb buff, but it still depends on the rest of the fleet configuration, if your trying to free up more room in fleet for more direct damage ships or support the extra aircraft on the whale is very useful.

In something like 11 seasons I have only seen 2 people with whales that have 13 and 16 ships. It's a tough thing to compare. For what it's worth I have both whale and cv3k with 11. The whale is slow but it survives. That being said it takes longer to heal. Pros and cons from whale and cv3k. Overall I still think the cv3k is probably better due to repair times and speed

Yeah. My org seems to have fought Asian megas only for last 4 seasons. It's like gold or even v4 SWs grow on trees for these guys. So yeah, better get used to it.

They should make it do close to or as much damage as a battlecruiser and maybe then people will start using them. Adding great anti-air damage would also make it more attractive and would make sense for what it is - such “military structures” usually have good self-defense systems.

I'm not sure I agree on the idea of it being for damage dealing. Anti air though and a butt ton of support makes sense for the aux role. If it did something to increase fleet damage that'd be nice too.

in fact i use solar whale since i got lucky to drop the +5 aircraft hangar i put the corvette and it's a pretty good and honestly i prefer using corvette still and i'm waiting to drop the aditional corvet hangar to have up to 14 aircraft. since i still don't have the vitas b and a and stingray i don't need more "planes" to being with but if it drops and have good module can be useful as anti aircraft carrying fighters

I think Marshal's skill to increase the dmg of Antonios aircraft fitted in it by 15% would put it above the CV3000, specially considering that Antonios includes the best aircrafts in the game with the Vitas B, Cellular defender, pulse Nebula and Mistral. Fit those aircraft in the Marshal, and it will certainly outperform a CV3000 that is using the same aircrafts

Vitas B fair enough, cel defender you want on jaegar, neb pulse on jaegar, mistral on tundra really. So to be honest it's only buffing the one aircraft

@@Damphyre i can understand the Cellular defender on the Jaeger for the Super Capital focus + reduced attack duration (which buffs DPM) strategy, but not the pulse Nebula to be honest. Pulse Nebula, unlike the Defender, has 0 attack duration, so you are already missing 1 of the 2 effects of Jaeger's strategy, and sure, pulse Nebula has energy dmg, which ignores the armor of super capital ships, but a pulse Nebula with its +50% hit rate bonus from skill + enhancements (not counting extra hit rate added from the enhancements of its carrier) is mostly wasted if it is not targetting something like a Special Carilion, or Stealth Reliat, or any small ship with high dodge in which the pulse Nebula can put its high hit rate to use, to be honest. You won't need even half as many hit rate bonuses if what you want to target are the likes of battlecruisers and carriers. I'd leave the Super Capitals to ships and aircrafts like the Levy9 (which having a 38 seconds attack duration, greatly benefits from Jaeger's strategy reducing it), Cellular defender, Hayreddin Loyal (has a strategy to buff its dmg the more times it hits the same target, so targetting Super Caps that have a lot of HP with a Predator's strategy will help it, plus the same strategy will reduce part of its 13 seconds attack duration), and XenoStinger.

@EliiGamer 685 I'm in the boat of more stuff hitting their supercapitals especially any high damage vette like the neb chaser = more big expensive dead things faster or they run away earlier and less damage taken. My fleet for the most part is designed to complete ignore any dodge rate front row tank.

​@@Damphyre there are certain small ships with high dodge that can deal a massive amount of dmg, probably more than a swarm when you got good enough AA, as i was able to beat enemy fleets with 60 aircraft twice so far, without any aircraft of my own in fleet. But if that's the case, then it should be mentioned that the Marshal Crux does have the same strategy of the Jaeger and Predator to make all its aircraft target super capital ships + reducing their attack duration by 30%.

People on my server are making out it can be used to swarm players with frigates Me personally I'm building up a sub fleet of just pure frigates and I did one battle against a lvl 8 and it lasted 3 minutes with 500,000 damage output. Obviously the ships are not maxed . Apparently if you add frigates to the aux then it's 40 CP plus CP of the frigates meaning you need 100 CP or so available in your fleet . I'm like why when I can just remove the aux and have frigates and save myself 40 CP So I'm having a fire power BC cruiser fleet , carrier fleet , tank fleet , frigate sub fleet and later on I'll do a destroyer sub fleet or a cruiser fleet .

The evasion buffs from the FSV are not a flagship skill, they are just upgrades in the command system

Marshall has a strat to focus on super capital ship, is that useful? Does it make it any better than others? Cause you can send a lot of aircraft to take down the super capitals, right?

Sometimes you don't want it. For example if you have mistral you don't want them attack super capitals. Or sometimes they have spears as tank and you don't really want to be attacking those either as they can soak up a lot of damage.

I do like your argument on the crux. I agree it's a good carrier with its hangar modules. But it's not hands down that great of a carrier. In my test and using them it and cv3k are about the same and whale with mods is just way ahead with 3 hangars vs 2 on the other carriers

There's a argument I missed with the whale, the maintenance dock gives 55% rtb and you only lose 3 vettes which in turn buffs them up quite a decent amount too.

The CV3000 only carry 11 aircraft??? And the solar whale carry 16?????? and he said that "that is 5 more aircraft" (this is confusing) The CV3000 can carry 5 large fighter and 3 corvette. Then the solar whale can carry 6 corvette (from what i remember) * Then this means that 5 solar whales can carry 30 corvette (5x6=30) * The 5 CV3000 can carry 40 aircrafts (25 fighter and 15 corvette)(5x8=40) 5 CV300 can bring half of the corvette that 5 solar whale are carrying Iam confused. Am i right or wrong?? I rewatch it 3 times and iam still hearing the same things

Cv3k M1 slot is 5 large and 3 vettes plus B2 slot is an additional 3 vettes so yes 11 each 55 for 5. Solar whale M2 slot is 8 large plus C1 is an additional 5 large plus B2 is an additional 3 vettes so 16 each or 80.

Is there a good flagship skill for frigates? The speed skill on the FSV only works with frigates only.

What if some have all 3 carrier but no modules, so just with bae variant.... should not be the cv3000 still the best? (I am a f2p player)

Probably yeah the cv3k or Marshall crux in that case. Marshall because it's less reliant on carrying aircraft and cv3k as it has a bit more versatility.

@@Damphyre Thank you for your opinion. I plan to stick with CV3000 as with cv-t800 and vitas-B it can make a hard punch on enemy lines, I will test out Marshall too later on

if they're the only 2 main aircraft you got what I'd maybe suggest is 2 Crux with the Vitas B on them and then the rest on CV3ks. This way you get the 15% damage bonus from the crux for the vitas B and the giant gun it brings in, plus the cv3k and its versatility.

think it was just a way of making the UEcoins a resource that gets used as tbh it really doesn't have much use bar grabbing 2 crates a day and some bits and bobs for weapon upgrades from cities
