They should make aux ships give a really good repair when in fleets in battle

Acho simples tornar essa classe de naves viável. O FSV deveria dar apoio industrial, sendo uma plataforma de mineração avançada móvel, com a habilidade de entrar em campos de asteroides, além de poder construir qualquer tipo de nave com exceção dos cruzadores de batalha e porta naves. Além disso deveriam tirar características de combate pois é uma nave totalmente industrial. O Ediacaram deveria dar buffs de combate e suporte para reparos dentro e fora de combate, realmente poderosos algo quase indispensável em certas configurações de frota, além de é claro poder construir naves em postos avançados. Essas naves não deveriam custar CP, elas poderiam usar Slots de nave Auxiliar que são liberados de acordo com o nível da base, sendo que você pode usar todos os Slots não limitando o numero de naves de serviço daquela classe.

Glad you're feeling better. These aux ships just appear useless or at least unattractive to me. I can't imagine using them in their current state. The devs seem to be clueless.

I'm glad you're doing better, but yeah may need a bit longer. As for these sub base seems to add more strategic depth. The aux... Net ease seems dedicated trying to shoehorn them in. They sound somewhat useful... But yes.

Hey Damphyre, thanks for covering this! Im currently in an alliance wide war and my base is 6hrs from my enemies so I built a FOB close to them and have 4 auxiliary ships active over at the FOB. Theyve been supremely advantageous and make it possible for me to keep pressure on the area. Theyve worked great for me.

Feel better! Been using the Edi a bit more in angulum lately, mostly because it seems to stick around for longer than the FSV. In normal systems, not so much. And nothing in this update is compelling enough to change that, imo.

Since they added the function that the FSV can boost the repair speed of the sub-fleet if you dock it on that building, I have been using it. Now I can actually fight some battles with the sub-fleet without needing 10+ hours to repair after.

There are so many changes the devs urgently need to make. And if they really wanted to blanace the game, they would need to do an almost entire rework. The progression system isn't fun or rewarding either. By the time that you actually get something, and it's not a bad ship, or a dupe, or part of a variant. By that time you are just too frustrated to be happy about what you got.

I run Fsv in my Tank spear cass h fleet. It helps with the speed. There's is the torpedo and missle evasion buff. For middle and back row, and it has some healing as a throw-in. Since I added the Fsv I haven't lost a single Cass h. That 8% evasion is the difference. My spears are max, and so is my cass h. It's able to 1v3 tank as non swarm fleets. Not lose a single ship.

Never had lag in this game. Actively use the sub fleets for cities. I stick my siege fleet on an outpost.

Time and time again I find myself trying to use the auxiliary ships as an actual combat ship in Fleet and using the subhold ability as a way to compensate for the lack of outright combat power of the ship it is difficult and I find it underwhelming but I keep trying to make it work these changes at least make it seem like it will be worth having an auxiliary ship for the sake of outposts that can be moved around without burning materials in a very tight fraught game. But I agree they are fairly useless and this doesn't make them seem like they will be any less useless.

The only thing that I don’t like about the support cas is an issue with how it picks what to heal. Had some in a fleet that was doing a mooring operation and for over an hour it ignored all back row ships and all kept healing the one battle cruiser. Lost a carrier because of it. Never had that issue with the ceres nor tundra. Maybe because they are back row ship and they target same row first?

im quite surprised Mare Ts missile and torps interception was not mentioned, the secondary weapons 25% interception on missile and torps sound notable, if you have more than 6 in your mid row or back row it sounds like those rows have blanket protection from those weapons

If you look up J-class racing yachts you'll notice the hull shape is quite similar. There is also a very famous j-class yacht name ranger. Don't know if its just a coincidence though.

seems like angulum is for whales only. There is no way for a f2p player to have v2 or v3 spear with armor mod, healing uav and high techpoints even if you play like 2 years.

Just picked up the A type. I have the CC plasma as well. A thought just now was to run 8 IOs and 8 CC plasma with some support and maybe a couple of spears or st59s on the front row to help the IO stay alive 🙂
