I'm a returning player, and armed dragon was back in the old days was kind of a cool. But it was over shadow by horus deck. But seeing you build a really good armed dragon and is not even mainstream just pure motivation for a casual player like to to give it a try. Most of the UR card you use are pretty much just generic staples that even crafting it will not be much of a waste should the deck ended up being not my cup of tea. But seeing you negate drytron player from playing the game, just put a smile on my face. Any player who plays drytron herald deserve to be negated from playing the game as what they does to others. Nibiru is pretty hard for the deck to deal with but sometimes you can at least link climb a little or make a thunder lv10 depending on the hand

Since we are playing 3x "Artillerie Catapult Turtle" do you think playing a single copy of "Gaia the Magical Knight" might be good? Magical is *7 and "if" summoned (normal or special) (also doesnt need tribute for normal) summons an aditional *5 Dragon from your Hand or Grave. So if you got an "Armed Thunder LV5" in hand or grave you could go Catapult Turtle, search a Magical Knight *7 summon it and summon the LV 5, then use the LV 5 to get a second *7 monster on the field. It's definetely not as good as pile armed tho...

Or maybe for a comeback, like when your board is wiped and you draw into him and have an additional card in hand, you can normal him, summon LV 5 from the Grave, send the card from hand to grave, go into LV7 or Pile Armed and immediately Xyz into Tomahawk (given your opponent doesn't negate any of that, that is...) I just don't know if the deck has any room for him and if adding him really is beneficial or if it may even be bad for the deck 😅

The only counter to this is if they play Forbidden droplet before they start their actual play. If they make Apex Avaian and IP Masq null and void your opponent can sweep that board quite easily. I play this on a Harpies deck with Feather storm, Scythe, and wind barrier statues. Very effective.

As an Armed Dragon fan myself I can't help but be disappointed at the combo itself, it seems like a combo that pretty much any deck which spams levels 7 can achieve - It's not really profiting out of anything the archetype provides. I'd even go as far to say that other archetypes would benefit more from the combo than Armed Dragon. Chazz it up! (oh also, i appreciate the start animation)

While I completely understand not liking this endboard/combo (trust me I'd rather there be some busted armed dragon boss we could end on), it's by far the most competitive thing you can do with this deck and I strongly disagree that it's not profiting from the archetype. Thanks to pile armed dragon the deck guarantees 2+ level 7's no matter the scenario, the other decks that can turbo level 7's tend to have no redeeming qualities outside of that. The mechanic of sending your monsters for cost to trigger another effect, all of the search power and free extenders, floaters in grave, 12 starters etc makes this one of the best tomahawk decks, if not the best tomahawk deck. So until konami gives armed dragon a proper in-archetype endboard or these cards get banned, this is going to be the best way to play armed dragons competitively in master duel.

While I disagree in wanting the archetype to have a busted boss monster ( I believe for the area the deck finds itself on the archetype's boss monster does just fine) I can understand the situation behind the deck. ​@@esseubot Oh I didn't mean to say it like the deck needs a new boss I just meant it'd be cool if we had more reliable interruptions within the archetype so we wouldn't have to rely on generic extra deck monsters (even pure heavily uses hieratic seals). Thunder LV10 and white are actually pretty good, hence why I still play them in the tomahawk build. They come up quite a bit! I just wanted to showcase the infinite negate combo in this video since it's the only thing I haven't covered on the channel. But yeah I'm always looking to make the deck the strongest it can be in any format, that's my personal goal. Again I totally understand if that's not your cup of tea, pure decks are usually a lot more fun to play, I actually play pure in TCG and think it's optimal there. It's because master duel is mostly based off of an old OCG banlist. A lot of the broken cards aren't that great competitively when every deck plays 3 maxx c to draw into powerful equalizers.
