Infinite Painter Digital Drawing Tutorial (Android friendly)

You keep asking for an Android-friendly digital drawing alternative to Procreate so here it is! Infinite Painter is such an easy to use app, just follow my instructions and you'll learn how to do a beautiful digital drawing in less than 10 min.

Hi Bianca! Unfortunately you can't do anything vector related on Infinite Painter, it's a 100% pixel app. The best vector app for iPad in my opinion is Affinity Designer, but it's not as beginner friendly as these pixel app. I'm still learning to use it 😊

CONFUSED ME ASWELL for a while. But once you try do simple things with it you start learning how clever it is. Try with simple squares and circles in and out. 1🙂

Think of an acrylic painting. You have your light sketch (layer 1) then block in color (layer 2) then shading (layer 3) line work, details and so forth. You'll get the hang of it in no time.

You have to click on the brush settings (on every single brush) and customize them there. I know it's mostly a trial and error situation. They do have a Jitter sections under the Texture of the brush. Sorry I can't help more. My experience with iPad drawing is mostly on the Procreate app but I'm starting to work more on Infinite Painter too 🙂 Take a look here also: www.infinitestudio.art/painter/help/manual.html

What you have to keep in mind when using layers is that further layers should be under the layers containing the front parts. I mean when you want to add something in front of an object you create a layer above that object. And when you want it to be in the back, the layer should be under the object. I hope I'm making sense here and you can understand 🙂

I swear to God I didn't have this problem. Maybe you can take a look on your iPad settings. I think I don't really rest my hand on the screen while drawing, that's cos I used to draw with real charcoal and that trained my hand 😊
