Nice review - we've only been on Infinite and were apprehensive (due to negative reviews), but we did a TA to Rome, and we loved the Infinite, because of the little extra space and the BIG window

I truly appreciate that, thank-you! I bet it would be a great cabin to have on such a long voyage. One of these days I'll do a TA! Please make sure you go and vote for your preference in the community tab poll

Sailed on Beyond last year with an infinite veranda & loved it!! We basically had the window down & blinds open every night, all night!! About to head out on Ascent & booked the same again! 😍 9:26

@@emmaturner5413 if the temps are reasonable I’d do the same and listen to the waves

Good review .... especially of a topic that is so divisive. I see positives and negatives for both and having not been on an Edge class yet I am definitely interested in trying an infinite cabin and i know hubby would love all the technology on board. Limited ships here in Australia so roll on retirement when we can embark on many more types of ships. 🚢

@@aussiepamdjem thanks so much! I’m glad you enjoyed. Definitely nice technology on the edge class. You actually have the edge in Australia I think! You should try it

Great review. I am a E Plus on Celebrity, I have my first Edge class sailing next month, a back to back on the Beyond. I booked a porthole veranda on deck 7 forward. In January I booked a back to back on the Ascent with the first leg in a porthole veranda but the second leg I have to move to an infinite veranda which I am not excited about. I have been holding off booking the Edge Class Ships for years because of this "Infinite veranda" so January I will finally experience the Infinite veranda, not by choice. Lol.

@@rodneyjustis1211 great choices, and to be honest, you’ll actually love the IV in January! It’s not too hot outside so you can open it and not have the cabin turn into a sauna. I too am booked on the ascent the 3rd week in January!

@@adventureswithCorey Good Point about IV in January. I am booked 1/26-2/9, what week are you cruising in January?

In no way is a "porthole" veranda a "traditional" balcony. A real traditional balcony has a door that opens to the open air balcony where you can walk out and enjoy the fresh air. The S class and M class ships have real traditional balconies. I vastly prefer the real balconies to the infinite type. BTW, I am Elite Plus so I've got some experience at this.

I'm not sure you watched my video, or have been on the Edge class, because exactly what you described, IS what a pothole veranda is. You open the door, step out onto the balcony, and close the door behind you, and enjoy the separation of climates. You may be confused with the infinite veranda where that is not the case, and I've got plenty of experience at this too! :)
