LeViathan The numbers were on vgchartz.com which is where pre sale numbers have been posted for years. Activision tried to dispute them months ago. Yeah the sales were higher then BF1 thats a given but they were much lower then BO3 which was an indication it wasn't going to sell well. Now we have more of an idea and trend seams to be the same. All we can hope is they listen and improve the franchise.

I don't think sales represent the quality of a game, even if it's compared to it's predecessor. For example, BO3 sales went down from AW, but the overwhelming majority of the community prefer BO3. MW3 sales are the highest in the franchise but we all know if ain't the best. Don't get me wrong, I think there is a lot of things wrong with this game's Multiplayer, and maybe one of the worst, but I think true criticism about gameplay is more important than sales figures

Trevor Thebo Black Ops 3 was my personal favorite (I know, unpopular opinion, but I don't care) so when I heard they're keeping the thruster movement and the specialist system, I was pretty darn excited, but when I bought the game... let's just say that I wasn't content (with the Multiplayer at least, Campaign is probably the best since MW2 and zombies is better than I expected.

I guess it's a matter of opinion, MW2 and 3 were by far my personal favorites. I don't like the thrust system though so everything AW, BW3, and IW are pretty much terrible in my opinion. I think the problem with call of duty is that most (not all) people don't want boost jumping and Activision seems completely oblivious to the fact that most of us really, really hate it.

Technically BO3 sales weren't down compared to AW. The first week sales were less, but BO3 was the first CoD to release on a Friday. Every CoD before that, including AW, were released on a Tuesday. So the numbers on AW were higher because it had 3 more days in its release week.
