Wubology, or the Art of Wub, as some call it, has been a craft long forgotten to the sands of time. That is until now.
Through new scrolls unearthed in remote jungle. Archaeologists have discovered detailed tablets revealing the truth of wubs, and how they might be even more primal than we think.
Dirt Monkey is among the first to take this ancient technology to new heights with his one of a kind wubby dubstep sound design and style, with some added flair on the keys of course.

man, I've never seen someone actually explain dubstep sound design so clearly and bluntly. most of the other tutes ive found rely pretty heavily on samples and presets and dont explain from the beginning. brilliant work dude, keep it up

Could you please talk about writing midi?? When should I write notes as opposed to writing the rhythms with an LFO? How much does velocity matter on bass? How do I write good riffs? Any advice would be appreciated, but a full video would be cherry. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

dirt likes to seperate his sub and put a saturator on the bass group with the base set to -36 on medium curve and drive it a little/output down a little to glue the 2 together :)

Hey man love the videos! You've inspired me to take the leap into learning Vital. As I'm doing so I find that each time I turn a knob or make any adjustment within the plug in I lose sound unless I click elsewhere within my DAW. Any experience or know how to fix?

@@item5286 you might be using a 32 bit version on a 64 bit system. Some plug ins just don’t play nice with a computer keyboard either, are you using one of those or an actual midi keyboard?

you can change the oversampling mode under the advanced tab to lower, watch how many fx stack up especially detune/chorus, & just generally freeze tracks
