True, but still its difficult to understand when watching for the first time. Lot of hidden facts can be realized only when watching for the second or third time. For example, at first its hard to grasp things like why the moon is called the seal stone, only Rinnegan wielder can summon the gedo from the seal stone and all that.

Rinnegan can only be awakened by Indra or Ashura's reincarnation, simply put Senju's cell or Chakra to Uchiha's member wont awake the Rinnegan, as proved by Obito... Obito is an Uchiha and he has Hashirama'(Ashura's reincarnation)s cell, but Obito never awaken his Rinnegan, even when he got both of his Sharinggan back because Obito isn't Indra's Reincarnation... But, many fans believed that simply put Hashirama's or Senju's cell to an Uchiha, those Uchiha will awaken the Rinnegan, while the Author himself already make it clear with this when Madara said to Obito that Obito will never awaken Rinnegan...

Madara only awakened the Rinnegan at the very end of his long life. Obito died pretty young- if he survived into old age he could've awakened it. So no, that's head-canon on your part. There's no real evidence of only Indra/Ashura re-incarnations obtaining Rinnegan.

@@moelester3758 Is there any other "human" ever awaken the RInnegan except Madara ??? The Otsutsuki are exception cause they are not human... And based on what Hagoromo explanation to both Naruto and Sasuke when they are dying, he said that it was Madara's obsession with power that lead him to steal Hashirama's cell... Causing the fusion of Indra and Ashura's chakra and resulting to Hagoromo's own chakra, thus Madara awaken the Rinnegan... Well, if you want to disagree feel free... Im not going to argue with you, since it is explained in the story...

​​@@ikhsansyafriestiar793 The Uchiha and Senju are direct descendants of Hagoromo's sons. As such, they've inherited the sons powers. The show explains that in order to obtain the rinnegan you need to create six paths chakra, in other words hagoromos chakra. Since the uchiha and senju are direct descendants of hagoromos sons, they have inherited their power. Meaning that if the two come together they create the rinnegan. Nowhere is it said that only reincarnations of his sons can obtain the rinnegan.

Why Black Zetsu keep making Indra's reincarnation and Ashura's reincarnation to fight each others??? Because, Hagoromo's chakra can only be obtained by others individual by either mix/fuse Indra and Ashura's chakra like Madara did or receiving the chakra from Hagoromo himself, like Sasuke did...
