When is the decimal version elevator coming out? Do you know how big it will be (rough estimate is fine) I'm very interested as I play on an SMP and I want a compact multi-floor elevator that's basically infinite!

I dont know when it wil be out. It wil take some time. The input wil be 5×5 and then each digit for the display wil also be 5x5 or maybe 4x5. In most cases 2 digits wil be enoug since 100 floors are 500 blocks

I designed it in a way that it you can just add a binary input, which makes the input module only 1 block wider. But this doubles the possible number of floors.

Install the 1.18 world gen datapack in 17.1 that increases the world height and build it there.

Inputting the floor number first, then clicking start button would make more sense because there wouldn't be any need for the timer circuit.

The start button unlocks the input. That way there will only ever be 1 floor number input. Otherwise, putting in a floor number and then walking away without pressing the start button means the lift can't be used from any other floor anymore. Also in multiplayer worlds it prevents 2 players putting in a number at the same time. Since only 1 floor can be unlocked at the same time.

the video will not be finished in time. i can give you the world download. There are some bugs that break the system that i would like to fix first. but if you don't care i can tel you about the bugs i found and maybe you will find new ones you can tel me about.
