@tiffanyconroy You have to start a new world from scratch for certain specific things to work. So that means going to the page for the mod and starting a world FROM the mod. Regarding the lag from trying to add some other stuff to it, me and my kids mostly use large mod combos on a realm server world, so it’s not as laggy that way. It’s not running the world from our console (Switch), otherwise, it’d be too laggy with all of the mods.

I would love to try this but I can't justify paying for a full priced minecraft just to play the game my way. Isn't that what minecraft is supposed to offer on its own? Also that money is better spent on other games with proper balancing and production. Shadow of the Erdtree for example is $40 and is better than all the previous Souls games and offers a bespoke dungeoneering game better than minecraft add-ons could ever offer. Like why spend $20 to make minecraft into a farming sim when you could buy a better farming sim game for $20?

I think Mojang is scared of making these changes because they'd start to blend minecraft in with regular games such as Roblox or Fortnite, and they want minecraft to maintain its simplicity and identity. Once you add animations you can't remove them. I think there's nothing stopping them from commissioning teams to make official add-ons that are free for players to download. It would be inexpensive, good PR, and would help stop add-ons from splitting up the playerbase into rich and poor.

@glowerworm I get that and I agree to keep the minecraft feel which is why I'm against a lot of changes people want (more elaborate generated structures, more 'modern' technology etc) but I don't think any of the things I listed are unreasonable. I mean they already added biome specific mobs, (stray, bogged, drowned, husk) and animations (swimming) and texture redesigns (netherack, gem blocks)

Extremely beautiful world, and the fact that you can customize the seed prior to generation is an absolute win. Marketplace items like this set a high bar that the general marketplace really needs, because let’s be real it’s very low at the moment. My only wish with this is the ability to lower the fog during the day, as it tends to block longer render distance. But I do have a weird feeling the custom clouds rely on the fog to maintain immersion. This will be an incredible experience in a realm with some buddies.

I paired this with a bunch of different add ons and it's an incredible experience, most addons in the marketplace have a similar style to this pack so it all blends very well. Paleocrafts sound design and mob models fit very well, it's also pretty terrifying going through the foggy swamps at night while a stegosaurus chases you. the horror one is a little over the top at times and you can't have the fog enabled (at least I couldn't) but the mob animations fit very well and don't look out of place, makes it a rl craft type experience. natural disasters is great, the particle effects really match the ones in this pack and it feels like it should be in the base pack. I'm sure other addons pair well with this too but these are the ones that stood out to me!

@@Keepxr hey sorry for the delayed response Ive been on vacation. I use More Ores and Tools by Netherpixel which completely changes mining, the ores have levels of strength (8 total) and diamond and netherite are only level 3! So it takes quite a bit of time to progress your way through all the tools. I also use Insane Disasters by Spark Universe which creates some really incredible moments, but I do have a couple of warnings with this one, don't turn on sandstorms and blizzards unless you're in one of those biomes because a blizzard popping up in the middle of the forest kinda breaks the immersion. Also the earthquakes can completely destroy your base and any chests within them (this happened to me and my friend and ruined the world for us) so you may want to turn those off or just make sure you're stuff is spaced out. I always use Naturalist by Starfish Studios, not allot to add regarding that addon it's just great. I use Paleocraft:Dinosaur breakout by CompyCraft, best dinosaur models in my opinion and they are very compatible with realism crafts style. Tinkers construct by FTB is good too but I don't use it when I'm using more tools and ores, it also heavily updates tool progression. I use Hydra Bosses by Spectral Studios just so I have other end goals besides the wither and ender dragon. Farming by Podcrash is great, adds so many new crops and craftable food items, best farming addon on the market. Dragons Biomes by Cynosia, is another one I use, I prefer it over other addons such as dragon fire because there are hostile dragons and the spawn rates are pretty low so it actually feels rewarding when you find a dragon, there's also these little white dragons that spawn in beach biomes that remind me of seagulls and they attack you. Essentials by Unlinked is another great one. Fairy Tales by Chillcraft is pretty good, the models could be better imo and don't match realism craft as much as some other addons I listed, but I still like it. If Beyond Survival by Piki Studios gets an update I'd recommend it, but as of right now it's not compatible with realism craft and the creepers are invisible. Damage Indicators by Pixelbiester is great, I prefer it over health bars because the damage effects are pretty cool and it also includes health bars, so you get more bang for your buck. And finally Horror Survival by Mythicus, I'm a little on the fence if I would recommend this one or not... it's fun and can create some intense situations at night time or in caves, but with so many creatures spawning it isn't scary at all and more annoying. But some creatures have some fun mechanics and give it an RL craft feel, id recommend watching videos on this one before buying

It is indeed possible to add to pre-existing worlds, but using a very complicated method you have to access the game directory of Minecraft also known as the dot Minecraft folder and make sure you already have a realism craft world uploaded and take the behavior in the resource packs from the premium cash in the dot Minecraft section And add those into your regular behavior pack and resource packs and there you go you have all the resources to make it into your own world this why all the effects shaders and everything. This also requires a PC I do not know how to do this on xbox.

I saw this pack and immediately got it cause i had some left over points from gettind some add ones and damn they completely outdid themselves with this. I was exploring in creative yesterday and theres so many cool details in the world. Like i found a pirate ship and the pillagers were actual pirates but then i found a ice biome and a ship stuck in some ice and the pillagers in that one were vikings instead. Thats such a cool detail that they change with the biome. Theres so much cool stuff in this its insane

No actually, it completely randomly generates a seed and every single world is different. Yeah the structures are the same in the build and architecture sense but so are the ones in vanilla Minecraft. The only difference is these structures in this pack are way bigger and way more detailed, they actually make the world feel alive. In my opinion, this pack is 100x better than vanilla Minecraft. Hands down.

Pretty stupid if you ask me considering they could easily implement that but whatever I guess. I don’t fully understand why people dislike Mojang and their decisions including having marketplace but I like being able to use add-ons like this on bedrock because I tried adding mods to Minecraft but they were too janky and too much of an hassle to install. Also I don’t mind paying for add-ons because from my knowledge it supports the creators and it seems easier than going to a website I have never used before and hoping that I didn’t accidentally install a virus to my Xbox

Predatory overpriced monetization tactics, and the funding is a standard pyramid scheme where creators only make a portion of earnings, while Microsoft pockets the rest.. I like donating to creators personally rather than through a corporate entity with an extremely bad track record. Mojang isn't responsible for this.. Microsoftpenis is. I'm sick of Monopoly, because it starts with this, then no more free mods, then no more Java.. it's just that most people don't give a damn to follow the money and just blindly consume whatever they drip feed. My distaste comes from Microsoft ruining experiences they "buy". Java mods are substantially better, marketplace could be so much different than what it is now.

There's going to be a structure at spawn and then some stuff in the spruce biome but if you do a complete 180 and get a boat to go across the water, you'll be mortified about what you'll find.... Have fun

There seems to be a glitch where you cant add on the behavior pack or the _main_ resource pack when creating a new world so you need to go to the marketplace listing for it and use create world there

I don’t have the skybox or a few other things and it says error for a lot of things when I enable the pack, I don’t get sky VFX in my realm. Is there a way I could get this to work in my existing realm?

Hi, I am having the same issue ... When you create a realm to play with friends, it just simply refuse to work, you cannot add any other add-ons or it just breaks everything, no terrain generation, no sky features and doesn't work with any other mods. This shows like a multiplayer add-on, but that's totally not true, nobody mentions this anywhere. I think is overpriced and mostly overhyped on the community. Hope the developer can get a workaround or definitely a fix for this.

Any idea how it works if you add it to an existing world then go to a new area? Would that load in the new structures and features?

It would not. You need to specifically create a world with the addon for the new stuff. You can use the texture pack on other worlds though

Some of the animals just show as shadows, invisible except for their shadow moving around. To be honest though I'm not sure if they are the ones from the naturalist one or the farming one

It makes no sense for Mojang to continue insisting on some super limited aspects of Minecraft, such as animations or the lack of a more complete lighting system, as they always do in its pre-rendered advertisements and in its other games, such as story mode and the most recent games. I don't understand what it takes for them to implement all of this in the main game.

This mod is beautiful, but the tree leaves don’t despawn at all and most of the tree’s are huge and take forever to clear. Saplings also seem to not grow… I hope these things get fixed because I love this mod.

Never ever join a friend that has this add on because all you see is everything else but the structures and the landscape are different but most of the other items are invisible and sometimes in forest you can find polar bears
