No. Michael recorded the entire "Got To Be There" solo album before the end of 1971. He was 13. And this wasn't a Jackson 5 track. It was credited to Michael Jackson.

Michael isn’t the original, the Jackson’s did a lot of covers during their early days. He was so good at singing them that even Smokey Robinsons song “Who’s Loving You” is thought of as a Jackson 5 song

Since I was a kid. I always loved this song. It was originally by Bill Whithers, who also wrote it. Fun fact Nash and Stills from Crosby Stills and Nash assisted in the recording. It has been covered multiple times since - including a great version by Geoff Castellucci showing amazing vocal range.
