Pure Noel Gallagher, reminds us that even though hes got all styles, his own invented style is there. Lennon has classic piano sound. this is noel gallagher and hes allowed to not have to just always do this. but this is like 2000 bside era peace and love.

I think it sounds very similar to a lot of his songs, it's a bit bland but he can't half write a catchy hook. If you're a fan of Noel (which I actually am) you'll like it but check out the under that video... Talk about people going ott!

Too similar to lots of other songs he's done. I really liked the more experimental sounds of wbtm and the eps so was disappointed to hear this.... I loved pretty boy though as it was different so hopefully the album sounds more like that and less like this.... this sounds like Coldplay which is never a good thing.

@@DaP84 yeh I think the backlash from the fans who just wanted him to write the same generic sounding stuff over and over got to him so he's written songs like this to appease them.... pretty boy was different which is good so maybe half the album will be in a more experimental vein like that and the other half will be oasis sounding stuff to appease the fans who don't like his more experimental stuff?

Noel’s on another level to Coldplay. I liked the more experimental sounds too, but this is album seems to be going back to his roots, (by his own admission) . If you like great melody, great bridges, great choruses you’ll like this and that’s why you liked oasis. If not you never did like them anyway, so go listen to something else. He’s one of the very best songwriters of the last 25-30 yrs, bar none.
