2012 infinity qx56 wouldnt start as if battery was dead and sometimes like the starter was going bad. Acted as if the key fob was bad also.. i could tell it was electric But had no clue. Thanks for the video. All same things going on at one time or another.

Are u referring to the battery fuse on the terminal in the video?

I think that's what it was. I think I say what to ask for in the video. Online I found it also referred to as a fusible link. That threw me off, I've only seen wire fusible link.

Great video, great tip.. I'm hoping this is the issue with my FX45. When I touch the Fusible link on the Positive terminal towards the passenger side tester lights up, when I touch the Fusible link towards the driver's side it does not. I have no lights in interior, dash, no power door locks, no ignition lights, no head lights, nothing. I'm hopething this is the issue. All I did was go on Vacations, come back and now have a dead car and a raise fuse blown out also 🤦🏼‍♂️ *went to Costco and changed the battery as the battery only had 2.5 Volts, So I replaced it, but not start, then noiced the mentioned above. I will give you a heads up, if this was my fix. Thanks for posting. 👊🏻

I replaced the battery fuse after I had bottomed out my 2005 g35 on a badly transitioned asphalt patch and it did not fix the no start, no dash lights, no windows/radio. The battery was not secured and I am sure it hit the hood and blew a fuse, amd or the bcm? The anti theft light is blinking still currently if thats helpful. Anybadvice would be great ! Thanks

I have a question hoping you see! When i use my multimeter i get continuity between the positive and negative even on working cars! Its odd Its a fluke meter so im not thinking the meter is bad. If i pull the brown plug Off I don’t get continuity

Hey I have a 2009’fx35 and I’m experiencing same thing. I noticed one fuse blown on positive side terminal. I have no power interior like this and only power to a headlight and fog lights. Is this my problem? Replace the fuses?

I had a similar issue on my g37. Car spazzed out and didn't start. Lights would go on and off, doors would lock and unlock, gauges would move up and down with the clicking and I would hear beeping sounds. I'm not gonna lie it creeped me out. I though it was possessed by a spirit. Usually I would wait for about 30 minutes and it would start. On the 8th time it happened I noticed clicking near battery on positive terminal. I gave a hard nudge to the battery fuse and heard a one last click which was louder and then it stopped. The whole vehicle went back to working normally. I realized that it's corrosion and needs replacement.

I have 2011 M37x, started then slowly died to shut off. No power to turn engine over, battery completely dead, could not even unlock my trunk with buttons. Attached jumper cables which lit up the main dash but not the center dash display. Also for some reason the Emergency Flashers came on. Car will not start or even attempt to start. Warning Key Failure light also comes on along with Battery and Brake lights. Sounds like maybe the Battery Fuse? Thoughts?

♦️Bro I have the 07 g35x awd and im having a issue were my car is misfiring, shutting off, and wouldn't start with lights turning on in dash including the security light and key light. I noticed it started after a flood in the city and after I cross wired to jump start a friend. Also my mirrors won't work. I watched a bunch of videos and thought maybe it had to do with the steering sensor under the dash, or my ecu , or anything having to do with the key. I just watched this video and im replacing this today. But any thoughts on the problem? When my car flooded,the water came in my car and blew the seat motor,which ended up shorting and blowing my battery as well.

My Infiniti 2009 G37 doesn’t start or show power or do anything, there is just no power. Jumpstart the car and it works and can drive. Once stopped and engine turned off. It’s back to normal no power, no start, no crank. Would that be the same problem ?

@@Silk06 have you tried jumping it to see if your battery is weak? Have you checked to see if you have power and trigger to the starter? If no trigger to the starter, is the ignition switch bad?

Here from tiktok. I have the 2014 q50 , this is somewhat similar to my situation however the only difference i can see is when i press to start my car powers on , horn word everything works as should and normal other then it starting up or cranking. I do notice when i press the brake on my car the “brake icon” does not go away as it show on Nissan/Infiniti’s so it’s like it doesn’t detect me braking to start so idk if it’s the fusible link or like a brake switch

When you press on the brake pedal does the brake lights turn on? If you are getting - lights such as the check engine light and stuff? Turning. On? When you. 1st Push the button, and hear humming from the fuel pump, and have Brake lights when you press the brake pedal. I'd think starter. Can you push the button without the car coming on but get the radio to play?

So idk if it’s the switch or the fuselink by the battery not activating it. I need to test the terminals just to check , if i were to get the light tester . When the light comes on does that mean power?

@@DonavanGiovani If you get a tester like a power probe,. I would also test the signal wire at the starter when you are trying to start the car. See if it sends a signal to the starter.If it does and does not turn then the starter is the issue.Back? To your question. Though? . If the test light turns on on both sides of the fusible link then the link is back. If you use a power probe you would see positive power on the battery side and negative or no power on the other side of the fuse.

My issue with my 2013 g37x is super weird. Every once and a while the car will refuse to try and start. Ive had the battery replaced, both the positive and negative terminals along with the negative terminal cord and the spark plugs. Most of the time it starts right up but randomly I’ll push the start button, hear one click, and then nothing. Anyone know what it can be? I’ve even taken it to a nissan and infiniti dealers.

This may not be a solution for your exact problem, but back in 2019, my 08 g35x had a similar problem and I had everything replaced (batteries alternator, fuses, etc.) before the issue started, so the only thing that could be the issue was the ECU (which is by the passenger side in the leg room area) but it’s in a bad spot where water falls from a drainage hose that goes through the sunroof and beside the climate vents, if it’s clugged water will start to drip near the ecu. Instead of taking it to the dealer I decided to work on it myself . I ended up opening the ecu and saw to my surprise, instead of seeing a fried Ecu, it was actually ants that caused an electric bridge, which was shorting my ecu. I cleaned the ecu off and wrapped it with a ton of electrical tape so water or ants don’t get in and just broke an end of the drainage hose so that water flows freely and not accumulate when clugged, afterwards I never had an issue since.
