Great video! WARNING: Make sure to clean the top of the fuel pump and surrounding area before you remove it. All that dirt will foul your injectors if it makes its way into your fuel tank.

So you're not running an upgraded hpfp??? Needs to be your next upgrade, but just a heads up I swapped out my nostrum ra338 for the Spool Fx150 and the difference is night and day. My tuner now recommends the Spool to all his clients and says it tunes and performs just as well as Nostrums $2300 ra405, plus it has a lifetime warranty, which neither of the ams/Nostrums offer.

what year is your car because i bought the same fuel pump for a 2015 q50 do you think it’ll work?

This pump is specifically designed for q50s with the vr30 engine which is for 2016+. Your engine is most likely not a vr30. However, it’ll still fit

Please for the love of God anybody that watches this video make sure that the first thing you do is make sure that your fuel tank is as low as it possibly can be without you running your engine out of fuel and then number two please make sure that you guys disconnect your battery for the love of God

Ehh not neccesary. This can be done with half a fuel tank, and using tube pinchers for the fuel line to not let fuel to come out, instead of stalling the engine for fuel starvation. Easier and quicker.

Could you explain how you wired the new fuel pump ? What did you use to cover it?

I used butt connectors that can be heated and shrunk wrapped.

No you don’t. If you’re car is cutting off, recheck your connections.
