For custom maps flamethrower is the best tower, for 6.3 or other levels it might not be the best choice (tesla, freeze, venom, crusher combo op for standard levels, for 6.3 endless splash, freeze, crusher and gauss are best)

Thanks for doing these. As a newer player I would like to know how to move from just completing the levels in Stage 5, and moving into custom maps, is that the next step, what are the best ways of doing so, and what is needed. I had a look at your endless farm, but I am not ready for that just yet. Keep up the good work.

Thanks! I don't remember exactly what I did, but I think unlocking endless and start farming stage 5.6 was the first thing, to get some resources and items needed to max normal research. Completing quests on endless is also important as you get more rewards in the mean time. After you got some pretty decent portals and bases, you can start farming custom maps just for bitdusts and lucky tickets in order to get research tickets and increase bitdust drop rate, loot frequency and loot rarity. After you got all those at least lvl 25-30 you can start farming stage 6.3 (bitdusts+lucky tickets)

It's actually stage 5.7, I got confused :) you can exploit the many platforms bonuses + infiar farming, using freezing/tesla/venom/crusher combo + blast/cannon/mutishot/laser if you got good research

I'm not sure if i did the math correctly, but... If you dont buy the longer chain upgrade wich deals 22.5 percent of the initial damage to the enemy hit if the damage would have othervayse been lower, you will in total with max chains deal around 170 percent of the initial damage due to the exponential decay of the damage. If you buy the longer chain upgrade with max chains you will deal around 270 percent of the initial damage? Correct me idf I'm vrong. And to clarify this is only true with max chains.

It works like this: lightning chain represents the amount of tiles lightning can spread to, lightning damage the amount of damage done to the next enemy hit (the minimum is 10%, the maximum is 95%). If you have a 50% lightning damage with 50 of damage, that means that first enemy is dealt 100%, the second 50%, the third 25%, the fourth 12.5%, the fifth and all the ones afterwards (until you cap lightning length) 10%. When you get Increased Voltage ability, the minimum damage becomes 20% and not 10% (with research you can increase the bonus from the ability). So it's not as good as getting the first and second ability, where you gain more damage

1st and 2nd ability are superior, with 3rd you get an increase from 10% to 20% minimum damage, but it terms of overall dps is better going with 1st and 2nd :)
