This video is by far the most understandable explanation of how to set these fans. I am strongly considering getting one but was hesitant to order one due to the fact that no one actually explained how to use them properly. Thanks for the great video.

This is one of the best and most accurate explanations I've seen on this register fan. Thanks for the video!

Now I truly understand what these things do, I’m definitely getting a few for my home

I think you are only supposed to get 1 or 2 where the airflow is the weakest. If you put them in every single register, then they are all going to be pulling the air. then you are back to square 1.

Thank you for this video. I am having a ridiculous time trying to get this to work for me. At the very end you address AC but you just say something along the lines of to set the temperature "a few degrees *different* from probe temperature." Do you set the snowflake above or below probe? The little book says one thing, and customer service told me the opposite!! THANKS!!

So are you supposed to set the cool setting to OF in the winter and only use the heat setting, and then set the heat setting to OF in the summer and only use the cool setting? Can they both be set to different temps so you can "set it and forget it" so you don't have to swap between settings for different seasons (i.e., set cool to 65 and heat to 80)?

I live in Phoenix so this is being used to assist in cooling. Should I set the temp higher or lower than the temp to which my HVAC is set?
@MikeHamMan2 ай бұрын
During the summer when your ac’s not running, your ducts are going to heat up to a certain temp. Lets say you set your temperature on your thermostat to 70 F, your ducts inside are going to be somewhere between 60-50F when the ac is running, let’s say you set the cool temp on the fan to 67. When your ac unit turns off, the air inside ducts will still be cold, so the fans will still continue to suck that cold air out until the internal temperature in the air ducts reaches 67F, once it reaches that temperature, the fans will shut off. What OP is saying is to hold off on running the AC unit to get a reading of the base temperature in the ducts and set the cold temp just 2-3 degrees below that base temp (for colder air) because when the ac turns on, there’s going to be a push of hot air first cause it was sitting there, you want to wait until the air gets cold before the fans turn on.

Anyone know how to change it from Celsius to fahrenheit? Mines on Celsius now somehow

Hi. When I initially plugged it in it was reading Fahrenheit now it’s reading Celsius. Is that normal?

hold both 'up' and 'down' buttons to switch between F and C. You can also enable a settings lock if you dont want kids/pets etc pushing buttons and changing things, hold the 'mode' button for 3 or more seconds, once locked you can then press mode once more to turn off the display.

Question if my AC is at 79 do I put The temperature in the middle on my air tab at 81 or 77 ? Thank you
@egborkowski5 ай бұрын
It's all based on what the temp is in your airduct.

Bigger question is why is the AC at 79 🥵
@zootyzoo12 ай бұрын
@@ViggieSmallsVO no bigger question not everyone has to have their house freezing cold. Why don’t you help answer the question instead?
@ViggieSmallsVO2 ай бұрын
@@zootyzoo1you still have this question 3 months later? If so, set the temperature to 3-4 degrees lower than what you want the house to stay at. So if you want your oven at 79 set it at 76 so when the oven is running it will drop to below 79 and when It reaches 76, when the oven is off, it will turn off automatically.
