Definitely the eeriest music I've found in vaporwave yet. So odd... so peaceful, yet unnerving. It feels... wrong. Yet comforting. These songs are haunting... I feel like in some kind of exquisite movie scene. Except there's nobody else here, and there's nobody watching the movie.

9:19 Oh God... for some reason this melody brings me back to my childhood, when I was sick and had a heavy fever during an extremely hot summer day. And a similar sound would come out from my grandma's TV. I feel both sick yet comforted. I feel sick and hot, but can't move and do anything about, but yet, I understand it's okay. It's the way the things should be...

This image makes me remember a very famous mall located in Lomas Verdes, Mexico. That place were decorated in order to look like a greek palace, because of this, it was called Acropolis. I remember like one of my firsts walktroughs in malls, when was only 8 years old, taking the hand of my mom, seeing apparel, toys, books and magazines, electronics, novelties and more, display after display. It was 1994... Now, that mall is no more than ruins and memories, today is abandonned. Some time ago, was used like gotcha cap, stage for TV commercials and for a musical video from the song "quiero ver" of Café Tacvba, a famous mexican rock band.

You're walking through the mall with your mother. The year is 2005. You have a burger king cup in your hand, and you couldn't be more excited to get to GameStop to finally get your Gameboy Advance. As you're walking, you begin to stray from your mom and turn down left at the far end of the floor. There are no stores in this nook - only a tie shop that isn't open, a vending machine, a payphone booth, and at the far end the entrance to the Bon Ton. The bars in front of the entrance pique your interest, so you move toward them. When you get closer, you see that this isn't the Bon Ton your mother made you wait around in for what seemed like hours while she looked around for her work clothes. This isn't where you would hide out in circular clothing racks whenever you got the chance - your secret rooms. There were chairs and things in them too a few times.. maybe. Maybe you dreamed that; you're not sure. Only a few lights are on - a few racks are pushed up against the wall and boxes are scattered about the floor. Under one of the few lights, some mannequins are facing one another. There's no display nearby which can project a sense of humanity and connection onto them. You don't know it, but this moment will stick in your mind as a snapshot, and you won't remember years down the road if this image came from a trip to the mall or a field trip to the museum. You feel your mom grab your hand. "What's going to be here?" you ask. "Oh, I don't know.. Probably just another department store."

Listening to this brings back a dream I've had since I was child. It is the 1800's. You walk into a giant theatre. It is bustling with noise and conversation. The stage is lit and the stage floor illuminates a reflection of light that is an old wood/oak/ brown hue. There are monkeys, elephants, gypsies, acrobats, and strange folk on stage. The air is eerie. The smell of tobacco fills your nose. You approach the stage. You are only a child. A stage folk approaches you. He is filled with makeup and costume. You can't hear what he says. He puts you on the elephant. You are mute. The show ends. You and the circus caravan leave the town. But the circus folk still dance and sing as if on stage. The space that surrounds turns bright but dark. You are far from the town. You begin to feel as if you don't exist. That you are a ghost, a shadow. Quietly the grass moves. The dirt is your skin. The trees are your hair. You feel one with nature and time.

You're in a mall, the air is filled with the smell of ash and smoke, people are heard crying and the occasional scream blares. Suddenly the floor is shaking accompanied by a roar, people are yelling to get down, you have no idea what is going on, in a moments notice the lights blow out and the roar has taken you off your feet and into the air, whipped you around like a ragdoll. It stops. all is silent. the fog of smoke and debris clouds your vision and a sharp bird like ringing pierces through your ash filled canals.

this looks like the last room you get to that contains anything recognizable to modern humans. Beyond is indescribable strangeness and wonder that might enrapt or terrify or both. Do you move onward or remain, too afraid of what could be next, instead taking your place as a permanent fixture for others to see that may pass through?

there somthing to peacefully comforting about liminal spaces and the false memories attached to them This music fits that mood perfectly woth just the perfect amount of eerieness added on to keep the strange feeling of liminal spaces in tact

I can't explain it. A faint signal irresistibly reminds me of a place that's deeply ingrained in my sense of nostalgia. I have no idea why. It even calls back to smells from that place. The human brain is a confusing thing.

Listening to this reminds me of the times when I was a kid and I had deep conversations with my great and questioned everything that was going on because I didn’t understand what was happening and tried to find an understanding. Rest In Peace great aunt. I don’t see anything sinister about this music. Instead it makes me think about things more.

People keep referencing abandoned spaces but in this album I hear a soundtrack and excerpts from scenes from a forgotten '60s or '70s sci-fi movie played on grainy film. It's hauntingly familiar.

The track 'memory limitations from artificial intelligence' is literally just lifted from Fripp & Eno's "No Pussyfooting" from 1973 (with very minimal alteration). Not to say that this album isn't nice or anything, just wanted to point out one of the original sources. Cheers

i feel like i’ve been in a room like that before. i know a lot of these comments say similar things but i feel an actual connection to this place. it’s sad because i can’t remember it but happy because i’m there again. the year is 2013 and i’m at my local mall with my mom. i want to go into stores but it’s a school night. i’m in my school clothes still and its getting late. i yawn and rub my eyes. when i look to my left right before leaving i see these statues. all of it together reminds me of my younger years.

You slowly walk into the dark room, not able to see. You constantly look back at the statue room, but as you go further in, you can’t even see the bright light. Soon you are enveloped by darkness and feel hopelessly lost and suddenly claustrophobic. You try to walk back towards the lit room, realizing you don’t want to bee in this room anymore (you can’t see anyway.) No luck. You somehow got turned around and in this infinite darkness, you can’t tell which way is which. You decide to walk forward, hoping to end up somewhere. What seem like minutes pass and you’ve made no progress. You slowly sink to the floor. It feels like the black has invaded your insides. This is your end.

I listened to the first song in this album on Spotify while trying to sleep. Something about it hit me and reminded me of the sunsets of my earliest memories, and the red tips of me and my mother’s hair. Just something about that glow, and black bodies of who knows what.
