I wish I could've afforded the IRS-Sigma's (incl: the required amplification) back in 1991 when I bought my Infinity Reference 60's. Other than the later IRS-Omega's, they were my favorite practical Infinity speaker. I did own a pair of Ren 90's which were very good, but my little Classe integrated struggled to drive them. Since then i've owned several pairs of speakers, but It wasn't until I bought my current Magico S5 M2's that I felt I had a speaker which bested the Rens and IRS Sigma/Omega/Epsilon across the board which is saying something.

Well to be fair, none of the infinity´s you mention, come even close to the MASSIVE price of your current speakers. Though i will agree, that beating the better Infinity´s, is hard to do without paying a lot for it. I currently own the Omegas myself.

Сергей, привет. Поздравляю! Классные колонки 👍 Свои Инфинити я уже продал. Пробовал их с парой денонов, пионеры м5, м90, ламповыми люксман. Мне больше с транзисторными усилителями понравилось. Израили в основном с парой Denon poa 3000rg 👌. Из марантц у меня только маленькие моноблоки из music link серии. Подключал, конечно, но это так, баловство ))) Сейчас Tannoy Canterbury. Вот они классно с парой ламповых luxman sq88 играют.

Благодаря вашему видео , и начал поиски Denon (2000+3000 ) rg серии Правда, не совсем понял , как Вы использовали два оконечника )) я только в начале изучения этого вопроса)) Мало очень информации по данной акустике, к сожалению… Хотелось бы с Вами пообщаться, я так понимаю, разбираетесь в данном вопросе) Есть ещё мысли, всё таки о Krell и Threshold по би-ампингу .

@@Sergey_777, 3000rg позволяют переключаться в моно режим. Там на задней панели тумблер Stereo/Mono и входы/выходы подписаны. Всё не сложно. А вот найти хороший набор, да, не просто. Я свой набор (пред, концы, cd-проигрыватель и вертушка) пару-тройку лет собирал. Сейчас остались только пред и два оконечника. По другим не могу ничего сказать, сам никогда не сталкивался. Но фирмы серьёзные, технику крутую делают. Надо слушать :)

Hi Dan, Thanks! I have several players und dac's. At this video you can see (ye, not very good) transport Victor XL-Z1000A and dac Victor XP-DA1000 - very nice combo. I also have Sony's cdp R1a & das R1a - cool things too.

I'm very famliar with your Victor Dac and Transport. I heard the Victor the XL-Z999 CD player in 1996. That is one of the most analog sounding CD players ever. The Reimyo CDP-777 is based on the XL-Z999 CD player. The Reimyo is another amazing sounding CD player. I'm using a Sony TA-N1 Amp. This amp weighs 154 pounds. Its massive. Here's a video i made of the amplifier kzbin.info/www/bejne/fpeneax5mJJomqc I was looking for the matching Sony TA-E1 preamp but couldn't find it. So i bought the Accuphase C280V preamp. This Accuphase preamp sounds great. I'm using JM Lab Mezzo Utopia speakers. I'm using a Musical Fidelity NU Vista Tube CD player. I also have a Denon DVD-9000 DVD CD Player which i use as a transport. I'll use a Kora hermes Tube Dac on it which i like. I have a Sony 707ES Tuner, Yamaha T2 Tuner from 1979 which is great. Tara Labs Temporal Contiuum speaker cables. Tara Labs Master GEN 1 interconnects, JPS Superconductor + interconnects. PS Audio Xstream power cords, Marigo power cords.

When I bought my used Rega p3 I listened to it on these speakers with a Logan end amp...best speakers I’ve heard in my life perhaps next to the older Matrix by B&w

My favorite amplifiers 3000 RG enjoy the ear and eye :) beautiful system :) They are beautiful. I use RG with Infinity BETA loudspeakers. How interesting, how the Sony TAR1 game is certainly better than the Denon PRA 2000 RG. what is your opinion ?

The Denon POA S10 mono blocks were also really good amps from 1994.

But S10 is not this class what 3000RG is weaker, it's made worse and made in mass, it has less power and there is no wood what in those years was a sense of luxury :)

The S10 was a lower version of the POAS1. The POAS1 were the best amps Denon ever made. Best Japanese amps class A/AB Denon POA S1 amps. Sony TAN 1. Onkyo M510 Yamaha MX-10000 Technics SE-A1 Technics SE-A100

Kliszewski Tomasz, i have pra2000rg too. It sounds great, i can’t hear big difference between it and Sony. What is certainly better at Sony is remote control. Denon doesn’t have it, even S1 pre-amp. That’s not good, imho.

Kliszewski Tomasz Hello Tomasz! I see you have a great knowledge about Denon equipment. Is POA-3000 combined with PRA-2000 much better than the integrated PMA-970? I happen to own the latter, but still dreaming about the set of Denon PRA/POA amps in RG edition. Are big powerful speakers a ‘must have’ to match such a beast? Thanks in advance! Denon POA-3000RG able to drive your Infinity IRS Sigma , these speakers not crazy like my Infinity Kappa 9? which is dig down 0.7 ohm!!!

The Sigma is relatively easy to drive, the 3000RG will do fine. I had them both and it will match great. He has two of them, which is rare, since even 1 3000RG is hard to find, let alone 2 of them, so I guess he's using them in mono mode, or is he beamping? I leter upgraded to the Epsilon, which is a MAJOR upgrade, but a challenge to drive for most, since it rquires bi-amping with the servo controlled bass seperated from the mid and high planar drivers. That speaker is great fun to play with.
