LOVE THIS !! Going to try doing this. This mirror is the best infinity mirror I've seen yet. Question....wondering why you didn't place the led light striping into the slot before gluing the piece ontop of it, so you wouldn't have to snip of the end, thus then having to attach it back together ?? Just trying to learn here 🙂

Hi Teresa! Thank you so much for watching and thanks for the question! The reason i did it that was was because i didn't want the bulky black connector on the cable. Totally a personal preference! You can do it the way you mentioned ..that is totally fine, and will omit a step in the process. Hope you have a great day ... and I hope you make an infinity mirror...its a fun project! Rico

Hi Shawn! I love this project too! It came out way cooler than I thought! This idea came from seeing how other did it, and I just thought since i have a laser I could do it a little differently. And I was successful! Thanks for watching and commenting...very much appreciated! Have a great day! Rico

What power supply did you use for the LED strip?
@ricohernandez23946 ай бұрын
Hi Dane! Thanks for taking the time to watch my video and ask me a question! I wired the LED strip to a male usb connector then i plugged it into a USB wall charger. thats it! the LED strip has a micro contorller built in to adjust the light patterns and speed. Hope you have a great day.. Rico

@@ricohernandez2394 Thank you. One more question...What setting did you put the glowforge on for the mirrored acrylic?
@ricohernandez23945 ай бұрын
Hi Again! That was a while back..but i think i used 150 speed and full power. I would make a small test cut with those setting first. Hope that helps. Rico

How did you get the image on there? Is the image on a regular mirror or an acrylic mirror
@ricohernandez2394 Жыл бұрын
Hi! Thank you so much for taking the time to watch my video and also to send me a question! That is just a regular piece of clear 1/8 inch acrylic, I engraved on top of it to put the image on it. I hope this answers your question. Have a great day Rico.

What did you do with the 2 extra wires (white and red) ?
@ricohernandez23942 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching.. much appreciated! The red and white wires on that end are not needed as it draws power from the other end of the mini controller. So I just cut them off. Hope this helps. Rico
