There are many players who can not collect the sphere to fix the switch and other were able to complete this. There is 6 day wait to unlock the “Trust and Celebration “ however other played seem to have completed the quest already

Did you do the right quest and see the cutscene with the crane? Then talk to aubida and ask her to bring you back to the wishing nebula. She'll teleport you
