Infinity reference 6530CX VS JBL GTO 609C - Sound quality check

This video is to compare the sound quality of component car speakers
Right front door : JBL GTO 609C
Left front door: Infinity Reference 6530CX
in Honda Jazz with stock Head Unit.
Rear speakers are off (Faded 100% to Front speakers in stereo settings)
To compare sound quality I toggle between (Right speakers and Left speakers) using Fade option in stereo settings.

Jbl sounds more full and has more punchy bass, infinty has little bit more treble but sounds thin.

Both are same from harman k. It depends on choice of listener. I like crispier sound and i took tweeters and 6.5 door of infinity. Their 3.5cfx is so loud and complete the lack of bass from 6.5ex. To summarize, jbl is good for bass but it sounds like soft bass and music. The infinity is loud trebs are high bass is normal, you can enjoy all the instruments playing with infinity. But turning up to full volume is like singer is screaming 😂 stock head unit no amp corolla 2022

Type 4 city stock had best sound setup dont change it....better update will be add pioneer tweeters all 4 doors and a small subwoofer in boot..if can add pioneer oval speakers in parcel tray by some drilling

Do you recomment two JBL GTO609C Component Speakers for Front and Rear Door OR JBL GTO609C Component Speaker in the Front Door and Alpine S-S65 Coaxial at the Rear Door for slightly better treble and crytal clear sound?

Your all listening to Samsung - They both belong to the same company. Since 1983, Infinity has been part of Harman International Industries, which became a subsidiary of Samsung Electronics in 2017. JBL is also owned by Harman International Industries, a subsidiary of South Korean company Samsung Electronics. For me The infinity's sound clearer. The bass for me comes out the trunk. If you dont have a Sub, i would go with the JBL.

Prashanth, mine is also Honda City. Please tell me how much difference in sound improvement did you find after installing these component speakers to the stock headunit? Was the difference worth the additional cost compared to stock speakers? And what was the major difference that you found between stock honda speakers and these components speakers? These answers will help me decide.

Honda speakers are pretty decent, what those are lagging is bass. I suggest you to keep the stock speakers and stock head unit as it is and add under seat sub woofer, you will be surprised with the difference. When this was recorded I dint have anything except component speakers with the stock head unit, later I installed Zoook underseat sub-woofer which comes with inbuild amp and its awesome and made a world of difference. FYI kzbin.info/www/bejne/pnzWcmd9gr1_m6c the difference between these two are @ ref have little more high's (treble) - (8/10) @ gto - (7/10). Bass is same for both(5/10), so If you like more crisp sounds with decent bass punch go with @ reference. If you like both Bass and Treble equally go with @ gto.

Haven't compared however by looking at the specs JBL is 360watt and Infinity is 320 watt also in these JBL is 2019 model, so I will choose JBL from these two.

Yes but I suggest you to have a look in my other video of zoook underset sub-woofer. I suggest you to install zoook, it will give good bass punch and if you are not satisfied and feel something is missing then you can add these components. 1st step is to add zoook 2nd add front infy/jbl components.

@utsav Kapoor Thanks for watching. I will rate *Infinity reference - Highs(treble) 8/10, Lows (bass) 5/10, *JBL- Highs(treble) 7/10, Lows (bass) 5/10. And adding under seat sub-woofer "Zoook Monster X1" to these made a world of difference. Will upload a video of Zoook soon.

Basically there is no difference...they are absolutely the same in sound quality. JBL seems better built and has a nice looking speaker rear

@@vibhorsharma100 you can go with jbl no need of extra wiring from the unit, you can use the existing wire till the door and connect cross over module to that and add small wire from module to speaker on both sides. Try with front 2 doors first and replace rear doors if you need. You can expect 30% increase in quality with this crossover speakers compare with stock. I dont recommend spending more on just speakers without amp or upgrading head unit.

@@yan5362 hard to tell tbh. JBL is more tuned for the common ears where they emphasise bass and sharp highs. Harman focuses on the same things but they turn down the bass a notch. JBL for bass and a bit of both worlds (great for pop and any bass heavy songs), Harman for sharp highs (great when listening to female vocals, ballads, sad songs, etc because it makes your skin tingle when they hit those high notes) but less bassy. Harman is a tad bit on the balanced side once you get to their Reference line but it still has sharp highs. I’d recommend JBL because thats what “most” people’s ears like. Bassy and a bit sharp. Every ear is different so the best decision maker is to just go hear the speakers at a store first before buying a speaker. Sound is way too subjective for me to say which one is better but quality-wise both are basically the same. Personally I like Harman’s more because of the songs I’m listening to.
