I got 1 of these. Check the led pack is screwed in properly. It is a reverse thread. Mine wasn't screwed in
@tommurphy4307Ай бұрын
no left-hand threads. if you are referring to the power packs they do not even have threads- just the cap and body have threads and they are of the right-hand variety. the led head of the flashlight requires a special tool and its also right-hand threaded.

What led does this light use? What can you tell us about the rechargeable battery? Mah?
@AussieSurvivalAndPreparedness11 ай бұрын
Not sure what Mah? I'm not really into to the technical side of gear as long as it works well and as intended I am happy. The rechargeable battery pack is still charges but definitely does not last quite as long i think roughly I get 5 hrs of use out a full charge was like 6.5 continuous hours when first bought. I have used the flash light quite extensively. In terms of the LED's they are very bright the light is very white in colour the light shines at least up to 200m and has a very wide beam that can also be focused. Hope this is helpful sorry if you where looking for technical specs.

@@markpollard9202 these are safe as long as they are not modified to provide a concentrated beam. as such, they can be as powerful as a laser.

the plastic lens cover will shut the flashlight off automatically if left on to prevent heat build up.

@tommurphy4307Ай бұрын
has nothing to do with the lens cover there is a heat sensor in the head that shuts it off when materials are too close by. i've had mine completely apart and checked it out.

Doesn't look bad at all. Thanks for sharing. I have 2 Nebo Outdoorsman lights rated at 2400 lumens. They hold 9 AA batteries. I also own 2 lights that hold 12 AA batteries each, rated at 3500 lumens. I have 2 Coast HP550 lights and they hold 9 AA batteries and are rated at 1000 lumens. I like them all. AA lights aren't all that bad. Needles to say, I use rechargeable batteries...

I used this flashlight extensively over the weekend quite impresed with it, very impressed with the rechargeable battery pack as it lasted near the whole weekened as well as charging my phone from 0 to i think 47%. Im am going to try and look into those flash lights you mentioned as there was a big draw back i didnt like with this flash light and that being it has a great wide beam but it sucks having a nice zoomed in beam.
@MemphisMojo15s2 жыл бұрын
@@AussieSurvivalAndPreparedness that's awesome for it to last that long, including charging your phone!! That's crazy lol. Of all of my medium/larger lights I mentioned and my 1800 lumen Bushnell rechargeable light, my favorite one is the Bushnell. I also have the 1000 lumen Bushnell rechargeable light as well and it is really nice. I got it at Walmart. The 3500 lumen lights are ridiculous for $39.99. They're a light exclusive to Rural King. They're all bright, especially for the money. The Nebo lights were $29! IPX8 too! The Bushnell lights are also IPX8. Good luck on your next purchase and if I can assist you somehow with deciding or whatever, just really anytime! Thanks for responding 😊💯

@@AussieSurvivalAndPreparedness I also find the 'narrow' focus is way too wide. Maybe ours are faulty? Would be good if you could compare. Say how many metres wide is your focus, when on most narrow, on a wall at 10m vs 3m.
@tommurphy4307Ай бұрын
too dangerous. nobody makes anything this powerful in a full-focus light for a reason- it can blind people or animals. the lens barrel halves would have to be modified and shimmed or welded farther apart. but remember- these things are dangerous like lasers.

I can do a more in-depth vid, but it has a simple button on the side below the batter level indicator to turn on and off. I don't like that you have to supply your own charger for the battery component or that you have to cycle through the light levels to turn on and off.
