@@Shiinababy performance is very good I can play call of duty mobile at 90 fps on lowest settings and 60 fps on highest settings, and same for bgmi. Battery backup is also good, I can play games more than 5 hours in single charge. In few upcoming days I will also try other games like genshin impact and Wuthering waves. Phone heats while gaming due to heavy processor, I use phone coller to play this game. Here normal environmental temperature is more than 38°C and phone reaches 45°C without cooler.

An 8200 by itself has shown that it can be stable with 60 fps on high graphics since Xiaomi 13T, and this GT 20 Pro has a 2nd chipset on top of the Dimensity 8200.

Typically, yes, they are likely better than others at the price. More budget goes to power and cooling. A neat trick if you end up picking up a gaming phone, in the game mode settings, there's sometimes an option to select what apps are recognized as a game and can access the gaming-grade features. Put your video editing apps in here, open them then activate performance mode to amp the power up when running them. I did this on the GT 20 Pro and have also done so on the Redmagic 9 Pro to great effect. Hope that helps! Basil

Because it's on app. No matter what's the actual frame being shown, the fps meter can only read what the app (Genshin) is giving, not the actual frames our human eyes see.

@tech_edit now _that_ is the question! As much as I would love the new red magic, that price could just as easily cover 2 phones. There's a third factor too - I need raw horsepower to run an android based DAW. Currently I still use Caustic 3.2, but I'm seriously considering Cubase or FL Studio. Whilst my reconditioned S20FE is still in excellent condition - screen and body wise, I have noticed a drop off in battery performance, and only the other week all 4 cameras completely failed. Fortunately, cameras are the one thing I barely use. I love the AKG tuned audio on this thing (their earphones are the best money can buy for 25-30 quid, and are superior to anything I've tried - even at double that price), but I'm loathe to go with Samsung ever again cos of the massively inferior exynos chipset they bung us Brits. To sum up? I'm wide open to suggestions mate!

I've been so disappointed with other budget phones like the Tecno POVA 5G for Genshin that the impression in this video is 100% genuine.
