BTW you don't need to do any housing modification. The t2 pro will fit there still.

Needed the modification in this case. because the early shell models were made for T2 Search only (T2Pro was not existing) so have a few of this in circulation and the buyer can get one accidentally. That's why I showing how to fix it fast and easy.

Great video and super detail! Im planning a setup like this and then watching the live feed remotely to use on a drone for a budget thermal camera setup. I am wondering though, it looks like a very narrow FOV; is there another lens you can use to make it a bit wider of an angle?

Or another model. you cannot change the lens on this. But have have other options for ya like the T2L. its cheaper and have wider FOV. Check my T2L and T2S+ video and if you like any join my Discord and as me for the discount on any.

The total weight depends on what phone you use. also the battery life. you can get like 7 hours on a phone like i use in the video.

On the unit i have the lens cannot be removed. later production models have the possility to remove.

You cannot mount before a scope because thermal camera cant see trough glass and glass lens. and pointless install after a scope cause it has zoom. best just to remove the scope and install as you see it in my airsoft test video

No. Thermal cameras see the infrared emission of the heat. you can see everything the same way even in absolute darkness. everything that emits heat. even a mouse in total darkness from 70m (tested but not recorded) :D

Take the lens off, then install camera and reinstall the lens from the outside

The newer models dont need that. also removing the lens every time is a risk of dust getting over the sensor. once is dusty inside there is no way to clean without taking it apart and taking it apart will break the pins that holds the sensor casing. Tested on a T2L. its not intended to remove, 🤔

Здравствуйте!!! У меня по чему то не подключается телефон unihertz JUILI 2 к тепловизору Infrared T2pro и к T3! Помогите пожалуйста, подскажите в чем дело? Когда я вставляю кабель USB в телефон, то он не запрашивает разрешение и не включает приложение
