I catch the lying, then I let them continue to lie and I keep track of the lies. Then one day in the midst of another lie, I will pull the trap door on them and let them know about all the lies they have told me. Then we are done with that relationship, because they can't believe someone can read them like a book. The arrangement of words made my whole body tingle with truth. Thank you for this great observation and truth brother!!

Thank you, this is highly insightful and helpful....My belief at this time is that one thing that might prevent an INFJ from spotting/realizing when someone is lying would be some type of mind control blinding them to what they recognize on a deep level.

It is always important for every INFJ to try to verify what their intuition tells them with something in the real world, which is why I highly recommend every INFJ (as well as most introverts in general) learn body language. There should always be a cross check in the real world. Thank you for sharing your insight on this topic. Take care. 🤗

I really resonate with what you're saying. I have a YT channel, so I read comments that people leave. I can tell almost immediately what is behind the comment: whether it's a sincere question, a challenge, someone trying to belittle or demean me...or even a bot! It really helps me focus my energy when I leave a response. People who are sincere get more of me and my time. Those whose motives are on the ugly side, get less ..or nothing at all...and some are blocked. And the amazing thing is that it's super easy to tell the difference...for me, anyway! Now I know why. Thank you. Your analysis made perfect sense to me.😊

Which is why I was so puzzled that I had gut feelings about people, even though I'd never met them. Thanks for watching. 🤗

This literally was a lightbulb moment how you described the 'wrong' note in how someone speaks. I always listen to people and let them talk about anything with me but the second I notice a hole or 'wrong note' in their story or something just seems far fetched I focus instantly on that. I'm a nice easy going person, and it always shocks people when I have had a few actual 'enemies' these are all compulsive liars where I just point out the holes in their stories. It's like there's this unspoken moment between us that they know I can see through their lies no matter what story they spin and I have had actual people find out where I live, threatened me, tried to get me fired etc purely because they can't spin a fake story to me. Thank you for this video!

Yes. That's very true and I've experienced the phenomenon of someone realizing I didn't buy what they are saying and becoming adversarial and/or skittish. I think it frightens some people (people with sociopathic tendencies, specifically). Definitely, as an INFJ gets older, they learn to be very careful with their words in responding in such cases, where they experience the conversation with a different awareness and perceptive of what just happened, what the conversation was truly about and what the other person's ultimate goal is. It is no mistake that most INFJ personality descriptions (faulty as they can be) mostly agree on the aspect of the INFJ seeing through the facades people present and seeing to their "motivations." Thanks for the comment, and thanks for watching. 🤗

Writing over speaking. I have learned that about myself over the past few years. In fact, several people comment on my writing, praising me for it, but they don't understand how long I spend just writing a few paragraphs. But it is in this way that I feel I can be heard because I don't have the reaction time in person to speak what I mean. It is frustrating to not be able to keep up when speaking and lonely to be the listener and never feel understood. I resonate with your video in all ways. Thank you for sharing.
@ConsciousPatterns27 күн бұрын
Very much so. I know INFJ's often want to write. It takes time to make sure their words convey the exact meaning they intend, because again, they understand how important words are. Unfortunately, this can definitely lead to INFJ's not speaking much around people. The time it takes to bring their thoughts to consciousness, and the fear that their words won't do it justice. In writing, they have to time to get it as close as they can. However, as I say in my "Message to INFJ's" video, it very important for us to put ourselves out there and work on that. It's not easy, but it brings a little bit of balance to your life when you get more of those experiences under your belt. 🙂

Even if I just hear their voice I can tell. I don’t have to see them. I can tell if they’re being honest, but are leaving a vital piece of info out. They’re not being fully honest. If I’m preoccupied or something I can miss it. I can even tell if they’re lying to themself. They believe what they’re saying, but something feels off. Fascinating video.

I can see so much that it breaks my heart and I sometimes wish I didn't have the ability to see people as transparent as I do. sometimes I just chose to just know silently because its easier than to go against what other people can't see. so i suffer in silence and when its become apparent that i know there secrets I give my best example of what love means to me. I'm very aware that sometimes i have to do this from a distance yet there vibes still seem to find me. then when everything plays out i feel just like a physic

Wow. Thank you so much for this. I started crying as soon as you said it's the arrangement of words. This was very profound for me and so dead on. As someone who just recently discovered that the MBTI even existed and that I am an INFJ , I really do appreciate You and the others who take the time to make these videos and share your thoughts and discoveries. My recent discovery of all this has been life changing to say the least. I always knew I was different and didn't fit in with the way "everyone else" felt and thought. Ive felt very alone at times and had just accepted that I am weird, damaged, and will always be misunderstood. To discover that not only am I not alone, but there are many others who feel/experience the literal same things as me and vocalize word for word so many thoughts that until now only existed in my head . Mind blown wide open! So thank you again for being you! And for putting this content out here 🙏🏼🫶🏼

Ive had speech pathologists tell me that I am very articulate and i only went to highschool. But this has been my reality my whole life. I am better speaking and not over thinking in writing. I can also pick up on a ton about personality based on single still images due to facial expressions. Its like I can see how their face likely looks when they're feeling all emotions. Omggggg sooooooo true about picking up on ALL subtleties like this. Its why criminal interrogation and the science involved due to the psychological implications found in behavioral nuance helps cops and investigators can tell what an innocent person normally sounds like.

Right when you said it, it clicked. You nailed it! I too would have those huh moments. I never could put my finger on it, all of a sudden I would just know you're lying, this isn't make any sense I wouldn't know what was going on I just knew as you said don't trust them. They're not being honest. There's more to what's going on. It would take time, observation before I could observe with the real motivation was but I would have those huh moments After you said this, now it makes sense because as you said most time I'm halfway listening to people, simply because I've heard most of these discussions, arguments, reasonings so many times you already know what they're going to say. You already know where they're going and then all of a sudden huh? And as you said, if you believe certain things, the conversations are predictable, the words you're going to use are somewhat interchangeable but they all lead to the same direction. So when someone says something that's kind of off, like you said it's kind of like listening to a song and then someone hits the wrong key. That switch getting your attention and I hadn't really thought about it never occurred to me until I heard you say it and it's like wow you nailed it

INFJ in Cincinnati. I totally agree that we hear and see the patterns and motivations of people. But if I do have the opportunity to meet someone, I can also somehow see their true self in their eyes. And if they are truly rotten, they are also hyper aware and see my reaction to their darkness. Then things can get really interesting. It's a you know I'm evil and I know that you know game. And all done by just looking at them in the meet and greet and random conversation. Anyone else?

@@ConsciousPatterns It gets worse. Everything is a language… a code. There isn’t a thing that isn’t. And then it gets even worse - those who have learned how to tell lies with the syntax and structure of the truth. And then it gets worse-worse - the expectation that things should be as we think they should be when this world will never be perfect, but will die. One must ask the question, “What is the true ultimate purpose of this surface existence and what is the true underlying existence?” That is to say, to live in a matrix which contains lies within a greater matrix within which there is no lie, within an expanse of pure potential… being one of flesh and prone to ways of this matrix, what about our own potential for fooling ourselves? Ahh… see, that’s how we really know others are lying… we know who we are. So unless we are getting the truth from a pure source, one can expect only lies. If only introverted intuition was utterly and completely pure; but we color it with introverted thinking and introverted feeling processes. We attempt to reason with the truth to discern it or we attempt to feel it… and yet, the truth is simply come before us and existed before us and is bigger than us. At the same time, it is simple and not complex; and without respect to our version of our own identity or feelings concerning the matter. And therefore, if the function is tied to the flesh, it is of it… therefore it is merely the most efficient and wise knowing function, but it is still purely anecdotal. It is always the subjective perception of what the object is and what it is doing. Whether the object concedes this point is merely an artifact of the subjective experience. Therefore, the actual and whole truth must be planted within from an underlying layer, an extraneous source which becomes internal; and from a singular and perfectly true mind; from whom and whom only can any lesser mind have come to existence. Logos - Greek for “The Word”. Ni is only the most efficient flesh process. It does not, unfortunately, in and of itself, contain purely unadulterated perception. An atom of lead in water makes it to be an imperfect dihydrogen peroxide… which without that Pb would be otherwise known as pure water; pure, living water is completely unadulterated. It is only with this understanding that Ni can actually be used appropriately.
