I respect your choice for not having children. As a mother of 5 myself I’d rather see someone make the choice of knowing being a mother isn’t for them rather having a child that ends up being in an unhappy home or worse. Being a parent is a big sacrifice and hard work

Not everyone who decides not to have children is because they would be a mad mum, maybe they simply do not want to
@maxine.12

@@chelllester I don’t think “being a bad mum” is what they meant, more so that if you have children even if you know you simply don’t want to (perhaps because of societal expectations or pressure or something like that), then you’ll likely be an unhappy home because it’s not a life you truly would have chosen for yourself :)

Why is it a sacrifice? This is the same as having a career or good relationship with your husband. It is a full-time job and requires perfecting all the time. It is like having the dream body. It you want it you do it consistently and you do not quit. It is exhausting but rewarding.

I knew in my 20’s that i didn’t want to have children and now in my 50’s I’ve never felt any different, even when I started the menopause and knew that my chance had passed. Best decision for myself that I ever made, not to bow to pressure to have kids. I think it’s brilliant that you openly talk about this subject 😀👏🏻👏🏻

As a healthcare professional, vlogs like these kept me going during Covid. It was and is my escape and my mental health needed/ needs it. It is useful for so many people. I love clothes and style related content, but I also think that your honesty about your life helps others on a deeper level, and that's so important to know others feel the same. As for relationships, I'm so pleased that you and Alex work hard to get out of relationship slumps, as I'm totally convinced that this isn't done enough these days. Divorce is easier, and women are more able to be independent of men, and while this means that people don't need to stay in toxic relationships it also means that it's easier to say goodbye instead of putting a little effort in in situationwhere problemscould be overcome. I heard a poem about marriage, and while I can't remember it exactly, it basically said that marriage is like an empty box, you can't get anything out of it if you don't put something in to begin with (not to mention topping it up on a regular basis). ❤

We live a beautiful life, not everyone has to have children, and your life choices are between you and your husband. Thank you for continuing to share your childfree by choice decision online. Myself and my fiance are the same age as you and also have chosen to be childfree. We get so many comments about why we don't want to have children and are often made to feel slightly ashamed that we are happy with our lives just the 2 of us and that career and other priorities are on our life plan instead. It's so comforting knowing other people (especially in the same age bracket as us) are making the same decisions and hopefully beginning to normalise it! xxx

I really appreciate that you are talking about childless by choice. I am a 63 year old woman and remember receiving so much unwanted feedback when I mentioned in my early 20s that I did not want to have children. It seemed like every one assumed that I did not like children and kept trying to convince me that I would feel difference when I had my own. I hope times have changed and that kind of shaming does not take place now. You also mentioned watching KZbinrs who are 10 years younger and enjoying them….well look at our age difference…..I find so much enjoyment in watching your channel!

Normally I skip past Q & A's as I find them monotonous and a waste of my daily luxury of creating my KZbin queue to enjoy, but you presented this in such a way that I was hanging off your every word. I was able to step away and make a coffee and attend to my doggies needs and get dresseed for the day with your voice in the background and it was really quite a fascinating insight into your life. Thank you for not boring the shit out of me.... Thoroughly enjoyable xx

As someone who is “friendly” and doesn’t always receive that same energy back, I get you. I am also sensitive to what is going on around me and to what other people are feeling. This can make me feel self-conscious, awkward and I start questioning myself. I am much older than you and have learned that we all have a light to share with the world. Yours is quite bright and it is meant to be shared. Obviously “read the room”, but don’t hold back who you are. It will only take a greater toll on you over the years. It is more about self acceptance than the acceptance of others.

In terms of self awareness. Enjoy the body you have now, it will never be as good as it looks now, which is perfect and perfectly you. Trust me when you are older and you look at yourself younger you will say but what was I complaining about back when I was younger, I looked stunningly beautiful. I had about the same look as you about then and your body will change no matter what. Love your content always and your transparency and empathy is so refreshing and appreciated. No child by choice is your choice and luckily you have the sense of decision making now and at the appropriate time and not after it’s too late. You are very intelligent and the head space of the maturity many women can only dream of.

I’m so similar with the sensitivity.. It’s weirdly nice to hear someone that is affected the same as me but stories or films etc. I’m such an empath I can’t help but put myself in their shoes and think how that person would feel. I can’t watch war films for that reason and will have nightmare about it if I see bits that are disturbing. Things just BOTHER me, and same as you, I’ll remember it 20 years later.

I think sometimes lots of people don’t realise how hard you actually work - they just see the travel and lovely home life, holidays and free things you get sent - they have no idea how tough it is - ❤. So honest and open. I would say anyones life purpose is to know in their final moments they were good, kind and honourable. Often we associate purpose to the jobs we have, which is very 'american dream', i don't imagine anyone truly feels fulfilled or at the very least can maintain that feeling through projects or work. With that I want to say that your purpose is being fulfilled already, everyday that you can go to sleep knowing you were good and kind ❤

Victoria, i go through the exact same thing as you do. You are absolutely a stunning woman; gorgeous, smart and look what you have accomplished at such a young age. Yes, I said young age because you may think 30's is old but honey it is not. There are the 40's, 50's, 60's, 70's my goodness there is so much for us to look forward to. You actually inspire me, so please do not ever doubt yourself. Love yourself for who you are. You are lucky to have Alex as your husband. Trust me, you have done so much. Kudos!!!

Victoria, don't let anyone bring you down. You are smart, successful, gorgeous and so much more....it is very obvious there are many jealous women....honestly eff them....I am 44 and take it from me. Life is too short, you don't need to please everyone. You are doing a fantastic job ❤❤❤👏👏👏. Love from Prague ❤.

Absolutely love a genuine person, we've all I'm sure had issues with this. I wish you all you need in life, all those who don't, will eventually just fall away, either with boredom, or they will eventually mature enough to see the complete waste of their time being judgemental and unproductive. Lots of love to you and your scrummy hubby, hoping your honeymoon is all that a honeymoon should be ❤❤❤ 🇨🇦

Had to pause the video please do not change I LOVE your bubbly happy personality. Fashion week is just ruthless. Too much competition and I believe people are just jealous of each other. I’m loving this Q&A so far 😘🤍

Well done Victoria for being honest about having children. Not every woman wants to or was born to have them. So many feel this overwhelming obligation to have children to please others. Live your life how you want to live it, and Enjoy the ride❤

Im a mother to two boys well men now ,17 and 20 .I personally dont have an issue with people not wanting a family. Each to their own, being a parent is hard work ,stressful but the most amazing thing to happen to me . personally i wouldn't start a family if i was in my 20s now ,the world is gone mad .thank god mine are grown .

❤Before I watch this, I really wish I hadn’t clicked on it because of the “click bait” nature of the title, HOWEVER, I really hope you and Alex are not divorcing! You guys are the ultimate dynamic duo and so amazing together as what you allow us to see! You two are an artistic, inspiring, influential team and hate to see that end. ❤Okay now I’m starting the video!

Hi Victoria, I’ve never been maternal or seen children as part of my future. I’m 48 now and no regrets. Motherhood isn’t for everyone. Great channel btw. I love your style and cheery nature x

To me, you have everything, and it all looks wonderfully perfect. It is so refreshing to hear that you struggle/suffer with the same issues that we all do. I think people forget that you (putting yourself out their for your work) are human and you think & feel. Thank you for being so honest. P.s. What's your eyeshadow? It's gorgeous! x

Victoria I love your transparency, as a smaller creator I also am warm friendly and smiley; fashion at that level would drain my energy. With the kids question it’s always your own business, and as women we can change our minds it’s always between you and Alex. ♥️
