I just had to comment bc I HATE the idea of Brooke thinking she comes across as mindless or "an audience surrogate." She literally ALWAYS makes good points, often original ones, and is generally the sole reason the podcast stays on topic at all. Connor is great too. I think they both bring equally positive things to the show (which is why it's one of my favorites). That comment was weird as hell, pointlessly large words and for what? Brooke seems very intelligent and if you have to catch the drool hanging from your "mandible" (girl, what?), that's on you lol.

I cannot say enough how much I do not see neither Connor nor Brooke as the sidekick or the stupid sidebar. They are both somehow so self-aware and transparent and not intimidating and yet I’m so starstruck by them. I think their effortlessness is what’s so attractive, and if Wireless Bone Marrow or whoever can’t see that, that’s on them.
