@@mevk1 Growing up as a kid, POC would have been my favorite uncle, so much to learn from a guy like him. I wait for more videos, hoping to learn more!

We used to have a similar stove until a few years ago, when i finally swapped it for something a little larger. from memory the baffle plate sat on 2 little lugs on the front above the door, went straight backwards for about an inch, then down at around 45 degrees til it met the back, then straight down until it sat on a little lug at either side. It was probably 1/4" wider than the gap between the pretend fire bricks on either side, making it a right bugger to get back in after cleaning the stove out after sweeping the chimney

I made a grate similar to that some years ago from square mild steel bar 12mm/10mm welded together. I thought it wouldn't last not being cast but lasted years.

No makers mark/name anywhere? I dare say that speaks for the level of quality.
@poroldchap Жыл бұрын
I would guess quality was quite good but here is an update kzbin.info/www/bejne/oXK6p6Vog8aWb6s

Not sure you need a top baffle when flue is rear exit
@poroldchap Жыл бұрын
I think it should have, there are lugs to support the baffle this would make the air wash more efficient

They are removing most information on Google. Hardly anything on it unless it's an advertisement for sale.

I THINK I KNOW what stove it is. I really like your videos POC, so I tried to help. I screenshotted a still from your video. Used windows snipping tool and google image searched it. The result which looks very similar led to this search term JA005 Woodburning Stove Cast Iron Grate (Very Slight Second) If you search for that, it looks VERY similar. A Sunrain JA005 Best of luck!
