Thanks for sharing these treasures with everyone, have something similar here,all cast with a beautiful stone and looks like the same paint job. Someone was chucking it away by the side of the road, well the old truck never stopped so fast. Things from back then were made with quality in mind and to last. Now it’s designed obsolescence and off to the land fill. Glad to see you’re continuing to make videos , hope you and yours are well in these turbulent times. From America…Cheers!

If you still have this, the safety cut off switch (just below the spring you pick up at 3:40) is operated by the tang coming out of it when the cover is raised. Unfortunately it seems to fill up with debris and stop the switch catch releasing. I spent a bit of time with a vacuum cleaner and a little screwdriver cleaning the housing out to allow it to function correctly.

Well I'm all caught up. I haven't been receiving notifications for your channel for almost a year. All the boxes are checked, but they haven't been popping up. So, I spent the morning watchibg your adventures. Glad to see you well. I'll have to make a point of checking in manually from now on. I thought of you because another channel I watch, mustie1, was tearing into a seagull motor and ended up not having much luck....or dare I say patience, with it. I shared your maintenance episode from 9 years ago to his channel and invited folks to check it out. I'm afraid all that's left of his now is some spare parts. 😑

Good Video and thanks , I spent a whole day trying to fix this K3 piece of Junk . My advice , DO NOT waste any time trying to fix these machines , sling it in your vehicle and drop it off at the tip on your way to buy a new machine, perhaps a different make. Life is too short for trouble shooting these.

Hi. I have rebuilt by K4 Full Control with a complete new cylinder head (ie both parts) and the leak when under pressure has stopped. However when I connect the line and lance I am getting no pressure through the lance and the led display just says 'mix'. Do the two parts of the cylinder head have to go in a certain order or any other suggestions please?

@@CliveandJeanWesthi mate did you ever find the reason or cause? I did the same on mine replaced pump head housing and cylinder head, mine pulses now, when I run water through lance off the water splutters, I noticed air being sucked in through the detergent tube. Any advice would be appreciated.
@CliveandJeanWestАй бұрын
It's all sitting on a box currently! I might try again with the detergent tube added just to eliminate that as the cause. If that fails then its time for a new power washer. Reading reviews on screwfix and toolstation they all seem to be rubbish!

Great video and a great find. I have thought about electric bikes for a bit, but out of my price range - but at £35 with a bit of maintenance that could be an option for me. As always keep the videos coming it's great that you are uploading again -and I'm already looking forward to the next one.

Very nice. I got a free electric bike, I think it might be the earlier version of yours there. Had to puch it over a mile on flat tyres to get it home. Sadly while the motor worked and the frame was in useable condition, the controls were shot due to damage and rust. Uneconomical to repair sadly as parts were long since defunct and adapting new ones would have been very costly and time consuming for something just as a toy really. Unfortunately had to scrap it, luckily though some parts were salvageable and I made £50 selling the old battery carrier and switch so I at least got my time investment back. Enjoy your rides, don't let the coppers catch you though, it isn't pedal assist so technically not legal these days without a license and insurance etc. ;)

My last petrol mower had the handle like the green one, but the pull start came out of the case pointing towards the front of the mower, so you couldn't pull it and hold the handle in place. Wish I'd thought of velcro! I had an old bootlace tied on that I could then tie the handle in place with. Did the job, but could have been an issue if I ever needed to stop it quick! Yesterday Facebook local free stuff group provided me with a free push along cylinder mower. Just needed a sharpen and a spot of oil here and there, and it's perfect. Strangely relaxing to use too!!

Something else I do to my mowers that are not going to make the safety nazis happy. I remove the rubber flap that drags across the back deck of the mower. I know it keeps toes out of the blade but it adds so much drag and effort to pushing and pulling the mower.
