Wow! Synthesizers were the last thing I expected to see here! I don't do infographics, but I use the Affinity suite to create my softsynth. This video has introduced me to creative techniques I'll definitely add to my arsenal. Thanks!

No worries at all! What's your soft synth? I'm keen to hear more :)

You have a great teaching style. I am at the last few days of finishing a training manual that I now realize is 60 pages of info-graphics. I didn't know they had a name. I had to add in a few of the interesting effects you used. Being able to use Publisher and Designer together made it easy and quite a bit of fun, too.

Thanks for the compliment, and glad to hear you found this video useful! :)

Very interesting, especially how easily you created your own table and I liked how the colour correction in the end put it all together. Creating symbols for reappearing objects like the screws and buttons could have made later changes easier, e. g. adding drop shadows all at once or readjusting the gradients. I'm looking forward to create my own infographics soon.

Thanks so much! Man, I really wish I used the assets tab and created some symbols for things like that. Didn't even consider it honestly. Thanks for sharing, I'll probably put that more to use next time.

@@RSKT_art Coming from Inkscape (and still use it), I knew the concept of "Clones" which work similarly to Symbols. They are a real game changer when working with repeating elements. One of the first things I looked up after I got the Affinity Suite was if it had something like that. (I'm flattered that you have noticed my advice, as your skills are far above mine.) ☺️

Thanks man! I think Affinity calls them "assets." Defiinately will be using this moving forward. Thanks :) @@sheaulle

KZbin always sends my live alerts too close to when the live starts so I'm not prepared. I entirely miss the live or come in late because of that. This live had been going an hour when I realized it. ☹️

Nice work! Super good information. I like the way you use different themes for the sections and I can see how you could actually use these sections to evolve a bit of a side story rather than just showcasing different styles. That would be a good challenge. Also - great work emphasizing the need to scrutinize your copy prior to rasterizing everything! The last thing you want to hear is, “We are putting this on our US website. Could you change all those Ss to Zs.” :)

Haha 100% about the s's and z's. Thanks for the kind words, glad you got something good out of this :)

Of all the things you mentioned that 'bothered' you (let's forget the spelling and grammar mistakes for a bit) the only one really bothering me was one you didn't mention. the Post-IT page with polaroids. The green cable has its outer shadow on the polaroid. You can see it at 1:03:14 on the lower left side. That's the only thing. Loved your timelapse and explanation of what you do and why. Thanks man.

Haha, would you believe that I only noticed that halfway through rendering the video? It's amazing how normal things because when you're staring at them for hours. Glad someone else picked it up :)
@xzenor Жыл бұрын
@@RSKT_art Yup, totally believe that. it's one of those things you notice when it's too late.. Like a typo you see when you just clicked 'send' on an email that you proofread about 60 times.. But thanks again. I learned a lot of tricks that I am definitely gonna try from your video

Couple of days of work. Normally I don't spend more than 8 hours on these, but I gave myself no limit this time.
