Will there ever be a Linux version available? I bought it for windows but I want it for Linux and be able to ditch windows and use this software on Linux.

I'm curious. In the "Table of Contents", what was your rationale for leaving the page numbers so far to the right of the dotted lines? To me, that spacing looked odd.

I'had been Affinity's client since the begining. When they released the V2. And misteriously the V1 showed failures. For example, in publisher I could not add master or normal pages anymore. Similar issues for designer and photo. This happened on my two devices mac and iPad. Customer service, of course, never answered. After some time I bought a M1 imac and decided to give another chance to Affinity and bought the V2. It still works. However, this news makes me feel Affnitiy staff will end up betraying their clients to force them to get into canva with some kind of tricks. Would have Affninty depreciated their products to force clients to buy the new version? In my case, the answer would be affirmative. Will be Affinity ruin their user experience with subscription models and non loyal canva's famous practices? We'll see. Whether that happes I won't use it anymore.

I hope you guys can develop an animation asset or animation software similar to adobe animate mechanics.

Thanks so much for this. I've tried many times to give Affinity a go but always run out of time and just end up back at Adobe, this really gives us a chance to see to learn it. Looking forward to the tutorials. If you makes some called Affinity for Adobe users, that will really help!

I am super happy that they let us existing users that already bought V1 or have done a trial get to try out the V2. The fact that they let us try it with no credit card is absolutely amazing, this is what trials are suppose to be. Not like most companies hoping that we forget and tag us with one payment before we cancel. Actually giving it for free with no tricks gives trust to new customers and keeps us existing ones around.

I've been with affinity for a number of years now. Love the company's attitude. Please dont change your corporate approach. But please develop a solid RAW developer/ lightroom alternative. This is holding many back from changing from Adobe.

Video eine Katastrophe .... da nicht in Deutscher Sprache. Warum gibt es nicht mal einen Untertitel in mehreren Sprachen wählbar. Man zahlt Geld für Programme die man aber nicht einsetzen kann, da es keine Videos der jeweiligen Sprache zu Erklärung gibt. Hier geht es nicht un WhatsApp & Co. sondern um viele Euros und die sind einsetzbar da man es nicht versteht was gezeigt und in englisch erklärt wird. Traurig und mehr schade - dann sollte man das Geld komplett zurückzahlen. Bei mir über 400 EUR!

People really seem like your approach guys, good for you! I bought the full V2 suite. I'm in the process of hacking Linux to somehow run Photo on it because that's my mainly driver for work. In the mean time, do you think a Surface with Windows on it is good enough for Photo? Again, congrats on the new flow of customers and good luck!

In your FAQ section it is written that "Trials cannot be used for commercial purposes." Is it mean i can not make money while it is trial version?

Greetings. Could you please tell me if in this free version of Affinity on widows will have full access for printing and color management. In the previous trial I tried some time ago it did not allow those to be accessed. For that reason i didn't continue with the program because i print using icc profiles and affinity would not allow me to print using the trial. Kind Regards

Well done. 6 month is what someone needs to try a new software that requires changing workflow and habits. I bought your software 4 years ago. It was a no-brainer because of the of subscription free nature of it.

I already own Affinity Suite 1 for my old Mac Mini 2014 and own perpetual full multi-platform license for Affinity v2 Suite for my new M2 Mac Mini.. it is such a great hardware optimized set of creative tool.. I only wish great success for Affinity Developer team to help small creators like myself and others.. I feel there is one good thing Affinity Dev team can do.. like DaVinci Resolve they can offer sales of their tool for Linux.. because a lot of small creators who owns DaVinci Resolve also owns Affinity products (I am sure not the only person).. Linux in some cases (not in every cases though for example if you already have a Mac) offers greater stable performance for creative individuals who have custom Open system built for productivity and performance.

Compramos Affinity desde la versión 2, inicialmente Designer; ... ¡NOS ENCANTÓ!... si, al principio cuesta un poco debido a que el ambiente gráfico es diferente al acostumbrado, pero no fue para nada difícil, dado que tenemos amplai experiencia en casi todos. Al principio comenzamos con CorelDraw, el cual es excepcional, pero su talón de aquiles es la gran INESTABILIDAD que tiene, llevan cerca de 24 versiones y sigue con el mismo problema, llegamos hasta la X4, adicionalmente, Corel lo tiene demasiado resagado, nunca se le vio evolución y demasiado CARO para lo poco que ofrece. Nos pasamos Adobe con suscripción; si es cierto, no tiene discusión, es lo más profesional, una suscripción pequeña que ofrece excelentes aplicaciones, todos lo sabemos. Desde que escuché Affinity, me causó gran curiosidad, entonces decidí solamente probarlo, con proyectos reales, que es lo que se recomienda para probar un programa de diseño, no es entrar, hacer figuritas y ya, no, así no es como se prueba un software, se prueba con proyectos reales. Si, doy testimonio, que dio la talla, se comportó a la altura de los PROFESIONALES, su rapidez y sobre todo su gran estabilidad. Decidimos comprar Designer; pocos meses después compramos Photo, ahora hace unos días, descargué Publisher; lo probé con el diseño de un portafolio digital de un cliente real, ME ENCANTÓ!!!! Si pensarlo lo vamos a comprar para tomar toda la suite completa; el retorno de la inversión fue muy corto, sus resultados son excelente. Ahora, no del todo, estamos intercalando proyectos entre una marca y la otra. Corel, definitivamente ya ni suena ni truena, se durmió y se quedó, ni siquiera se menciona. La gran preocupación es que si llega la versión 3, sea perpetua o suscripción, pero cualquiera de las dos, será bienvenida. Damos testimonio del gran profesionalismo de estas tres aplicaciones, tienen mucho camino que recorrer todavía, pero para eso estamos nosotros los clientes, las Agencias de Diseño Gráfico que apoyamos. I just bought the Affinity Photo 2 yesterday switching off from Adobe, and as a beginner, it's fantastic, easy to use and has everything I need Thank you!

Installed it and will study everything. I am sure I can make the best out of the 6 months! <3

I just bought the Affinity V2 Universal Licence and after trying Designer (after years of battling my way through with Visio) I must say the price was worth it just for the single program, I'm trying to wean myself off Photoshop at the moment but the sky selction and generative fill keeps me coming back, I will however overcome once I get a bit more versed in the Photo 2 UI.

Affinity has been my work tool for four years. I only have words of gratitude to Serif for having developed such a robust and effective suite. I would never think of using other tools for editorial design again.

Huge amount of respect guys,!!! I always wanted to switch but was always held back because of learning curve and time investment. I am positive i'll be buying it by the end of 6 months. I hope the trial also incules the iPad apps.
