I want to thank Inforce for talking with me and discussing the results. The first notable item is that I'm using FL-1 to arrive at max lumens, and Inforce measures one sample at time zero. This is a significant difference because most LED lights do not need a warm up period; they start off at max output and immediately start dropping in output. Even so, a sample that I tested this morning (2/8) gave me 447 max lumens which is still below the 500 claimed. I'm sending that exact light back to Inforce for their testing. My key realization is that the industry isn't settled on any standard for measurement, so it is "difficult" reliably compare manufacturer ratings. I'll provide more updates once I have them.

IMHO Inforce has the best aesthetics and activation switch compared to other comparable wml but they are just crap in durability and reliability. I wanted to like them so much. I wish they would step it up on those issues and quality control or I wish other manufacturers take a hard look at Inforce designs and especially there push paddle design that would be awesome since I prefer it over the toggles. Unfortunately for Inforce, Cloud is about to come out with some PML's that I assume will shake up the market if they perform as advertised. PS. I was listening to someone who is close with Surefire and according to them most manufacturers record the highest output light in a batch as their peak. This means that most lights underperform, some significantly so. Surefire on the other hand finds the lowest performer and that's where they set the spec. This means you know that at worst you are getting X values from their product.

Dear Werkz staff, What do you do if you don't have an OLight on your CZ-P10c? I was all excited to check out the new M7 holster and...only one option for light for the P10c? Huh?
@WerkzHolsters
@WerkzHolsters 2 жыл бұрын
Dear SheepDog78, I want to support as many pistols and lights as possible. We spend at least a week of R&D time on each pistol & light combination, and often times more. We work to "tune" the retention and feel so that you get an excellent product by making subtle design changes, cutting molds, and iterating until we get it perfect. It's expensive and time consuming. Sometimes we create a "test run" of a pistol with a current popular light. Then we take a look at sales. If sales are great, then we often will expand our offerings. If sales are lackluster, then we look to see if our time is better spent elsewhere. While we were rooting for the CZ P10c, sales weren't exciting. This could be due to the popularity of the pistol, how many people run it with a light, or how many people want a holster for the pistol / light. Either way, we have literally hundreds of requests for specific combinations and we work to satisfy where the greatest demand is. If there is significant enough demand for a specific pistol / light combination, I'm happy to push that combination higher on the priority list. I know that explanation was probably way too long... hope that helps!

@Werkz Holsters Thank you for responding so quickly. I LOVE my Bisect 2.0 holster. I was hoping to get an OWB holster and was just checking out the new offerings. Unfortunately, as good a pistol as it is, the P10c did not catch on like it probably could have because most people swing more towards the known reliability of the Glock. Again, thanks for responding so quickly. Keep up the good work you're doing. I, for one, greatly appreciate your efforts and always check out the Werkz site first when shopping for new holster gear.

I think the Wild1 is a solid light. If you want a "press inward" style paddle switch, it may be the best compact option.
