Indeed Theresa, your comment that not all surgeons perform the same technique of facelifting is correct. The human desire to keep the freshness of youth is the major driver for all forms of corrections., indeed the variations in technique are almost infinite. To perform this type of procedure requires considerable anatomical understanding and expertise with surgical technique for the surgeon to utilise correction of the internal support. In my experience , once surgeons have leaned how to do this they appreciate the control and power of the procedure and then see on their own patients the benefit of the technique slowing the rate of future aging. Also, as you observe, the longer the operative time, like the longer the travel time, the greater the cost. And of course cost is a major determinate on how many patients can afford quality,.As women appreciate when purchasing a handbags for example. The prestige brands are superbly made, with hidden internal stitching so they keep their shape and still look almost new after years of use so they hardly show wear. That is why Christian Dior, Prada etc. are revered products.
