My Kia Soul 2022 has the navigation. They showed it to me when I got my car. I never used it so I forgot how to access it. Can you tell me how to get it again.

Ok you should then be able to press the Apps/info button on the bottom of the screen. Now look for the map icon. You may need to swipe through a few screens to see it. Once you find it then click on it to start navigation. Thanks for watching!

To show the digital speedometer in the drivers lcd screen press the “mode” button on the right side of steering wheel till you get to “trip computer” then scroll down using the arrows on the right side of the steering wheel till you see “digital speedometer”. I cannot figure out how to operate the MODE button so I can bring up my options like having the second speedometer view. Can you walk me through that? I have a 2020 Kia Soul.

Thanks for the question. To get your digital speedometer to show up, use the menu button on the right side of your steering wheel. Press it until you see trip computer, then use the up/down arrows also on the right side of the steering wheel and toggle down about 4 screens, that will be your digital speedometer. Press the OK button (it’s the switch you’ve been using to toggle up and down). The MODE button on the left side of the steering wheel is for going between different media sources (AM, FM Etc). And the MODE switch down in the center consul is for switching between various drive modes such as Sport and Economy. I use bluetooth ear buds and microphone to listen to books and to make/take my phone calls, but the AV system hi-jacks my ear buds and "forces" to only listen or talk via the sound system. How can I revert back to using my headphones solely in my Soul? (snickering at my own pun)

I’m thinking about purchasing a 2020 soul does it have Bluetooth ability? I have a 2011 Ford focus with first GEN sync it has XM radio and Bluetooth capability I find that One of the features of the car I use the most I’m worried the Kia will not have this Will Apple CarPlay make up for this? Thank you

Thanks for the questions. To answer your first question, yes the Kia Soul does have Bluetooth. To answer your 2nd question, Apple CarPlay, other than the fact that you have to plug your phone into the USB port to connect to Apple CarPlay, is like Bluetooth on steroids. Basically many of your navigation and media apps like google maps or Apple Maps or Apple Music or pandora all show up on your infotainment screen, so your running those apps from your cars touch screen. Once you try it, I doubt you’ll use Bluetooth (in your car) again. Thanks for watching!

How can I activate the compass which shows directions. Mine is stuck in one direction. How to reset

Thanks for the question. What year is your KIA and where is the Compass located? The owners manual does not address a compass anywhere in the car, Unless it had navigation. If you are referring to that compass, you may be able to reset it by going to the "Turn-by-turn" mode in the drivers LCD screen, but there are no instructions in the owners manual about reseting the Navigation, or compass. There are a number of KIA rear view mirror accessories that had compasses. If this is the case, my best suggestion is to locate the manufacturers name off of the mirror, and google it to see what it says. Another option would be to disconnect the battery, wait 5 min, and reconnect it. Hope that helps and thanks for watching!

ssvishnov thanks for the question. The power on/off button is located on the bottom left. It is a rotary knob. I believe that if you push it, it will turn your infotainment system off. If that doesn’t work then twist it to the left. One of those ways will turn it on or off!

How to get maps on the kia SOUL 2020

If you have navigation on your 2029 Kia Soul, there is a button on the far left just below the screen that says Maps click on it to open the navigation. If your infotainment screen has all the physical buttons on the left and right side of the screen, there is no navigation. This type of infotainment screen does have Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and through your phone you can use almost any navigation app and it will show up on your infotainment screen. I can't locate the Sirius XM radio but was told it is automatically installed. Can you help me with that?

According to KIA's web site the only 2020 Kia Soul trim levels in which Sirius XM is available is on the EX and GT-Line Turbo trim levels. I'm not positive what "options" were available for your car, but you need to have the 10.25 inch infotainment screen and it would be equipped with navigation as well. If you have that system then the directions below should work as well. If you have one of those trim levels you should be able to go to the Radio, then press the "Band" button at the bottom of the screen and click on Sirius XM radio. If its a new car it should activated within about 15 min. Hope that helps and enjoy your new ride, we sure enjoyed reviewing it!

I have the 2020 kia soul lx and use android car play android auto app and the Sirius app is on my Phone and works but Google play music is free and the radio stations are great nearly as great as Sirius but I can't get spotify to display while playing with the android car play and android auto app

matthew chandler thanks for the reply. I’m going to give you 2 links to look at. Not enough room here to summarize. First link is to a spotify forum community.spotify.com/t5/Android/Spotify-Not-Showing-On-Android-Auto/td-p/4767482. Which gives you some steps to try but they say there’s a flaw in the software so it may also not work. The second link is from a KIA dealership outlining steps to sync android auto app on phone to the android auto app in the car www.cornerstonekia.com/android-auto/. Hopefully one of these methods will work. Let me know how it goes and thanks again for the question

Ok thanks and I just tried something new today I installed the Google assistant app on my Phone last night and now I can say ok Google to activate the Google assistant in my Kia soul lx but it doesn't work when music is playing but the microphone button works so evidently you have to put the Google assistant app on your Phone even though Google assistant is practically built into android phones
