Thank you for posting, it worked for me. Didn't know why my phone screen stopped working, I had to press the home button, the power button, home buttn, pwr bttn, etc. It would dim, look hazy, and then go black. I used the brush technique and that fixed it. Thanks again.

If this doesn’t work it probably means the lcd cable has to be replaced, this should work, it has worked for me, you can also try to push on the top right of the screen but be VERY CAREFUL to not brake the the screen

Oh my gosh thanks. It worked! But i lost two screws and damaged and replaced my battery in the process. Not to mention it took 1 hour for me to remove the LCD and another one hour to get the home button wire connected. Hahaha
