Ooh, long time. I remember using pyscript a long time ago. There were a lot of issues. Great to know that project is doing good 😊🎉

There's a older (Red Eye Coder) video that does a side by side comparison to perform a prime-finding task, and it takes python almost 3 minutes to do what javascript does in 9 seconds! I wonder if the performance has changed since then.

Great video.Thank you so much.Is it worth learning python and pyscript in 2024 if I want to become a front end developer? Are is it too early for that and should I just go the Javascript,HTML and Css route for now?

I think it's well worth it to still learn HTML/CSS/JS as its own skill. Pyscript is not likely to displace the need to know such things for a good long time to come, if ever! -Serdar

No denial pyscript is growing but not at the pace to replace the traditional web dev languages. And you’ll still use html and css whilst working with pyscript and even JavaScript for more advanced functionalities. Pyscript at its peak is better used with them than as a standalone tool.
