It's been a pretty miserable experience honestly, any chance I can get an upgrade? The world loves extroverts and being "neurotic" is an insult. Being empathetic doesn't help and just adds to the emotional burden so maybe switch that feeling for thinking instead. ISTP sounds more like what the world wants, a motivated problem solver

We aren't self-loathing, we just witness the world in different ways sometimes, and it can be a very dark place which takes a toll on our idealistic nature and views. Without healthy ways of expression, we can definitely seem that way, but I can guarantee you there isn't any person an INFP loves more than themselves, and that's why we prefer our own company and minds
