Do you mean the wavelenght of the remote control IR ? The are videos where explains how to measure wavelength of visible light. Even though IR is not visible, probably a cell phone camera may let you see infrared light.

the resistors leads and IR receiver leads connections are not clear. can you put a schematic?

Great tutorial. I was lookimg for something to help me use my osciloscope besides square wavea. My scope, "a siglent sds1202X-E," has a decoder, "i2c, sp1, uart, can, lin." any chance of getting it to decode the info from the remote? TIA
