Firstly, wow the decorations just don't do anything for us. Oh we have these sightseeing constructions and what not, they're not going to do anything to make the habitats more attractive! Interesting right?
Anyway it doesn't help that I am so oblivious sometimes! Moving concrete production elsewhere and forgetting to complete its supply chain! That's definitely on me.
Again I feel that at 6:54 the idea for the game allowing players to specify which region (i.e. which buildings to stop production to save manpower) would've helped greatly!
Back at 3:33, the more we add, the worse it is! More production means more manpower needed which just strains the system even more. And this phrase applies for populations too but more on that at 14:11. Where I finally realized the more habitats I built, the lower the appeal average, because they just take THE AVERAGE!
I also realized that 19:06 when we reduce the limits for the distribution/collection center, whatever's already stored in there disappears! Why not keep them until they're needed and not replenish the center until the count falls below the limit? Also, the production buildings in the coverage of a collection center will refuse to supply anything outside of the collection zone even if the collection center is full. Would've been fine if the collection center can be daisy-chained to supply other collection or distribution centers. While the explanation for the distribution and collection center pretty much sums up how it should work, I must say I neglected reading it! I think I totally misunderstood how it worked.
