I think all forms of tech are important but if we would take 10 percent of people that are smart and good at creating things and put them to work on making medical tech better it would be 1000 times better medical tech is the most important tech on this planet i mean think about it it keeps us alive the better it gets and the faster it gets there the longer we will live and the more we can get done blows my mind that more money time and man power is not spent on this since it is really is are one and only life line and way to live longer lol

In order for our society to continue to wealthy, we really must make some sensible adjustments to how we allow automation to enter into the workplace, otherwise the current trend of more and more wealth being drained out of the middle and working classes until only a few percent of the population owns everything and our economy grinds to a halt as no one has wealth with which to purchase anything. It's actually a fairly simple concept - the profits that result from the increases in production that automation creates has to partially be paid to the workers displaced by the automation. If something like this isn't implemented we'll end up with 90% of the population homeless and unemployed while the small percentage of people who own EVERYTHING will live in armed enclaves.
