Holy shit! A slam/deathcore band and no pig squeals? Slam had a lot of those, deathcore could have a lot of those - so when you hear a band plays "slamcore", you'd think there'd be pig squeals up the ass. i kinda get what this guy is saying, but i don't think it applies to Ingested at all, these guys pretty much defined the new school era of death metal. Other bands that play this kinda of style sound pretty generic to me, but not Ingested, they are doing their own thing, and they are awesome at it.

Them turning deathcore over the years is fine, but I hate that they still try to market themselves as slam by slapping a slam riff here and there. Blending in deathcore with other genres is how you dilute a scene and make it bland
