This. Beach shacks weren't allowed till the 1990s. That made it easier for chhapri types (domestic and foreign) to visit and litter.

It is only when such incidents happen then the concerned departments take action. Otherwise it would have gone on as usual even after complaining. Every one thinks they own the beach. The tourists and all these people who do business have destroyed Calangute and Baga beaches for their selfish needs.

Some greedy business owners are responsible for destroying their own business by not following rules and regulations.Beach area should free for tourists so that businesses can grow and thrive.every one will get benefits.
