i8Pro is a performance-type electronic synthesizer, also called electronic saxophone, which is different from traditional musical instruments, and it can play the sounds of 89 different instruments. Such as clarinet, violin, viola, saxophone, bamboo flute, cucurbit silk, pipa, bawu, suona, etc., it is easy to realize multiple functions in one machine;
It is very delicate and small, with frosted paint finish, equipped with 8 golden touch keyboards, high-definition display screen and simple menu keys;
The i8Pro digital wind instrument has 5 octave wheels, a wide range, and all music tracks can be played; it is also equipped with a finger rest for easy performance, and a built-in 5W speaker, which makes the sound loud and easy to play;
We have two fingerings to choose from, saxophone fingering and flute fingering, one fingering can play twelve tones; choose the tone you like, and you can start playing;
The i8Pro digital wind instrument can be played directly, connected to headphones (practice by yourself, without disturbing the people), and connected to speakers in 3 ways.

So many wind controller clones from China lately... however, none of them seem to have bite sensor and custom programmable fingerings (where you can assign a note or any MIDI command to any key). And also none seems to have more than 12 keys.

Hi there. Thank you for visiting. No.1 Firstly, learning and innovation go hand in hand. For example, the front operating area is unique in the market as far as I know. Secondly, there are different features for different price points. Thirdly, we have 12 keys, 5 octaves, which is more than enough for playing songs. No.2 The i8pro MIDI has 2 roles: Expanded external tones and computer internal recording to edit the music. For example, it can be connected to windows cubase, apple computer logic, apple mobile phone library band, etc.

@@INGPARTNER-EWI Innovations sometimes can be a huge pitfall. I see many companies trying new visual designs, and new features before getting all the basics right. As a result, we have many "proof-of-concept" devices that provide some fun initially, but they turn out to be not that good at some basic functionality. We also have good clones of some popular Akai, Roland, Yamaha devices, but still, they lack some important features that the originals had. It's important to have more choices for good quality wind controllers that have all the basic functionality. Surprisingly, the best ideas do not come from large companies with lots of manufacturing resources, but from smaller individuals. Why is NuRAD considered one of the ultimate wind controllers and is wanted by so many people, despite the very high price? NuRAD does not have any innovative features at all. It is just a basic wind controller, no built-in sounds, not even a gyroscope, and no Bluetooth. Still, the demand is growing and the company is struggling to deliver the devices fast enough (because they are hand-made from off-the-shelf parts). And then there's also WARBL - a great idea to use optical sensors for keys (also artinoise re.corder has this). It also has two simple buttons that can have any MIDI command assigned. This suddenly opens up so many options for users to control their connected software synthesizers - to switch MIDI channels, to switch instruments, to start/stop MIDI looper machine... Such a simple and cheap idea that makes the instrument much more powerful. Why don't other companies learn from this existing feature? Unfortunately, WARBL does not have a bite sensor and it should have more tone holes to become more versatile for fast players. So I did not buy it. WARBL and NuRAD both have open-source software and hardware, which means that any company could use that design. Having much more manufacturing resources than individuals, a larger company could deliver such super-functional devices for much more affordable prices than NuRAD. Or they could cooperate with NuRAD developers to help them reduce manufacturing costs. Most of the research&development is already there, no need to innovate to get a super versatile MIDI controller that would be in high demand by both beginners and professionals. Regarding fingerings - if we have an electronic device that's not limited by acoustic physics (unlike sax or flute), it does not make sense to enforce acoustic-based fingerings on users. With electronic design, we can adjust the fingering to be much more convenient for a beginner who has never played any other wind instrument. WARBL developer got this right, it is possible to create any fingering that's convenient for the user, even if the fingering does not replicate a real-world instrument. Again, no need to innovate, just learn from the best existing open designs. Why I would need more than 12 keys? I'm not a musician but I recently learned to play a Nuvo Clarineo just to have fun after work. It has so many keys that it's possible to play along almost any song without switching octaves! For a beginner, having more keys to extend the note range is so useful. So, if you have more keys (such as on Yamaha WX series or Roland AE) and also the option to customize the fingering to extend the range up and down, it becomes so much easier for a beginner to avoid the difficulty of learning to switch octaves and have more satisfaction from the device. I have even created a survey and published it in the Facebook Wind instrument group. So far it has over 40 results collected, but the trends are visible. More people want a versatile, reliable MIDI controller for a reasonable price, without a built-in synth. Like NuRAD but cheaper. More people want smaller portable designs, not those bulky clones of Akai EWI and Roland Aerophone. Bite sensor is considered a basic function that should be present in any serious wind controller. Again, no innovation is needed, just create a design similar to Yamaha, Akai, Roland, NuRAD... The customizable MIDI command buttons (as WARBL has) also received the most "I want this feature!" responses. And unfortunately, we don't have any such devices at all. No manufacturer wants to take the best and most demanded features and create a great device. I hope it will change in the future.

@@INGPARTNER-EWI I understand that the non standard fingering might seem like an innovation but it makes trills way less natural, for example F# to G on saxophone you only trill your middle finger, for your instrument hij trill pinky and middle. Pinky trills are generally the most difficult and you make them the only trill.

@@jakobbruhspenning @jakobbruhspenning Y8 EWI is an innovative electronic musical instrument. The whole EWI works together by your ten fingers of both hands. Therefore, each finger performs its own duties to play professional and beautiful sound. Pinky finger is no exception. If you practice more, you will gradually become proficient and love it. What a challenging thing it is! I’m sure you’ll want to get one and try. Excellent value for money!💯 Link: www.amazon.com/dp/B0CNJRLVXK

@@INGPARTNER-EWI yes I understand but inherently the fingering where you always need to use forked fingerings to play accidentals is objectively worse than a system with an accidental key for each note
